  1. That’s the cypress fee. They are worth it. Weightless worm is very effective and cheap to lose in there
  2. Sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads
  3. Slacker. The way your thumb looks, if you caught a lunker, you wouldn’t have a thumb!
  4. Here’s the continuation of the first video I linked
  5. Yes it goes from bone dry to class V quite frequently, I think the lower part down near the hiawassee is probably the only part fish can live in
  6. It was filmed at the same time the BPT was on sturgeon bay, which I think was late July . I want to say the catching was going on around beaver island
  7. It’s always been 150 minimum in FLW from what I remember. He should have known that. I’ve fished one tournament in my life (BFL) and I remember reading that rule . maybe his google machine was broken??
  8. Cool deal, keep after em!!!
  9. I could be quite wrong, but the ocoee is not known for its fishing. The water was ruined by copper mines and is just now coming back somewhat. Spotted bass walleye and trout and the occasional yellow perch are all I’ve heard of coming from there. And not in large numbers. A spring white bass run does happen, as with any rivers and creeks around here
  10. It appears the swirling rumors about the passengers were true https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wbir.com/amp/article/news/local/clayton-family-members-friend-aboard-helicopter-that-went-down-in-fort-loudoun-lake/51-52f1dd77-28ec-49fe-b5b7-19e158faa6e7
  11. How much money ya got? I’ve been out fished and out casted by people using Mountain Dew bottles as rods and/or reels and line they salvaged out of the Rip rap they were standing on. It’s all a matter of how much you want to spend and how bad you need the fish . When eating dinner depends on successful catching, people will surprise you
  12. Probably the most interesting inquiry in the history of my time on bass resource. Congrats ! Looks like a crappie trolling reel to me
  13. Buzz bait because fish WILL NOT eat a whopper plopper in my area. I mean literally they WILL NOT do it. I’m starting to think it must resemble some northern food source because people rarely seem to have any luck with them
  14. Yea it’s now a golf practice facility , just downstream of Alcoa highway bridge
  15. I’ve heard several of them have been creating chum slicks on the latest northern swing
  16. A pontoon boat transported three to safety but one person didn’t make it out. Not all pontoons are bad! we had two choppers buzz us very low while fishing Sunday, right over our heads https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.knoxnews.com/amp/5578702002
  17. Everything is all normal down this way, fishing wise. River rolling downhill, bass eating plastic worms. Here’s hoping for better luck the rest of the year
  18. Both my lake neighbors have had to get a bunch of rip rap hauled in on a barge. I’m guessing that’s very expensive! So far our dirt is holding but it’s only a matter of time. They set up a ramp to jump right out in front of our dock!
  19. Almost any bomber long A is bone when you scratch the paint off with a pocket knife. People have been winning a lot of money slow wobbling that plug on top for a lot years. It is very difficult not to soil your linens when a smallmouth comes up from 20 feet down to grab a long A, then dive right back down
  20. Same for TN river. I’ve had two story boats that you would imagine jay z was driving get that close to me. And barges you have to run and hide from “you scratched my anchor” -Rodney dangerfield in caddy shack
  21. Welcome! Let me know if you ever make it to East TN
  22. Things don’t get a whole lot better off the bank. Couldn’t help but think of @A-Jay on this one hahaha
  23. I have several Ponds right near my house and I’ve never fished any of them. I’m starting to realize why after reading bank fishing threads.......
  24. Good for BP, congrats. That will cover his buyout and then some
