I would guess that’s because Wilson lake is so small and doesn’t have the water storage capacity of pickwick wheeler and guntersville . Thanks for the fishing tips! I’ve got a buddy in Florence and hopefully I will make it there this fall if I can get a boat running safely
Sounds complicated and expensive, I’d rather just paddle than purchase and think about all that (not that I could purchase it anyway)
I have 3 wet batteries, one to crank and two to troll. I use a $20 battery charger, never had much problem. I’m trying to fish not run a space shuttle
I’ve had 3 fires in my boat now, luckily all the size of a bic lighter flame. Last night it was in the parking lot thank goodness and it was this wire which I’m guessing is a ground. Everything seems to function normally still even though the wire burned in half..........
I don’t know how long they take to rust but minnows can escape and a water snake can get in there and eat some of the minnows. I’ve trapped many snakes in a minnow trap and the initial “oh €%#*” factor is pretty high on those scenarios .
Yep. They won’t look at a food item and ponder whether or not it’s in season like a woman standing in the produce aisle. Fish don’t think, they kill and avoid being killed
Well, the ones in the TN river get up to 15 lbs and the smallies get up to 10 lbs
I caught a 4 lb smallie on a frog in milfoil with 65 braid the other day not far from my front door . The 2019 classic several 5 lb smallies were caught burning cranks in muddy water
Well in Tennessee, if you’re targeting one you’re targeting the other. There’s literally nowhere that’s ONLY smallmouth. Sure you can go places where it’s mostly smallmouth, like near my house. But I still catch the occasional largemouth right amongst them.
now I suppose you could target only largemouth but you would have to do it in a cow pond
