I throw that on my finesse 8’ heavy power rod with finesse 100 lb braid after I’ve already covered a lot of water with my finesse 9 inch Huddleston and dragged my 1.5 oz finesse jig with 6 inch finesse chunk trailer. Works every time

I’ve got a dock you can tie up to! I don’t think you’ll like it though, the hike is treacherous!!! We’ve had a few people tie up over the years at a discounted rate and I believe they eventually opted for the marina with easy parking and walk after a season or two. He probably chewed up your crankbait and pooped it out before you made it home. I’ve grabbed them under the gills but I don’t know if it was a good idea or not, I only fish near them one week out of the year
They croak pretty loudly in the snow here, especially the southeastern chorus frogs.
