  1. This is why I never use wacky rig
  2. I fish everything, never skip anything if I can help it. some days they are here, some days they are there
  3. Negative, they were all friendly . Although the small ones kept bluff charging everything I lowered down into the well, it was pretty funny
  4. I got them all in about half an hour, had to get slightly creative. Got 3 to walk into traps and lifted the other 4 out (one by one) in a bucket
  5. My buddy’s wife and young daughter were out of town so he said he wanted to do some cat fishing. That’s him with the big one in the top photo, a 30 inch blue. We kept some of the smaller ones fried them up after fishing. all the fish were caught on jug lines with hotdogs
  6. The guy that caught the world record smallmouth wishes he never caught the fish, now you all can see why
  7. It smells authentic, You can find it in the fly fishing section
  8. Congrats Hank! I met him at the expo in the 2019 classic, he said that hopefully he would be fishing the classic in 2020 instead of working the expo. Well by gosh he won that one and the next, very impressive!
  9. Sounds like one heck of an evening
  10. Commercial fishing is only allowed on chickamauga and nickajack in my immediate area. Isn’t that ironic, only allowed on the most famous bass fishery
  11. Worm, buzzbait, toad, rattle trap, Jerkbait that’s the way it would be in my dreams anyhow but currently I don’t even know how many Rods are in my boat and there’s probably only lures on 1-2 of them because I usually leave the lake after I break off (after dark, mosquito swarm audibly begins, get out of the water time)
  12. I’ve heard from several sources there was evidence that it was weighed. The evidence was 22 lbs 4 oz. There is even further evidence on what scale was used . Heck I’ve never seen a picture of Abe Lincoln next to a tape measure but I think he was 6’4”
  13. The Diamond Vols are headed back to the college World Series!!! This will be our first trip to Omaha since 2005, lots of folks should be in the stands wearing orange. One thing that makes it even sweeter.......... if any of y’all follow SEC sports, you may have noticed that Tennessee has had a constant thorn in its side in all sports since around 2001: none other than @Sam’s alma matter LSU. In all sports, it seems they rain on our parade every single time for a long time. Well of course the obstacle standing in our way at the super regionals is none other than the bayou bengals, with a legendary coach set to retire at the end of the season. We had already swept them in Knoxville earlier this season (they thought our fans were too rowdy that series at 20% covid capacity, I’ll take that compliment) but history seems to indicate they would be able to rain on our parade yet again. Well last night we squeaked out a nice 4-2 victory and today our bats came alive with home runs flying out of the park in all directions. It sure feels good to pull a thorn out of our collective side that’s been stuck in there for a couple decades!!!
  14. When we were 16, we caught a smallie that we were certain was 6 lbs so we put it in a 5 gallon bucket and raced to our favorite gas station deli that we ate at all the time. The ladies weighed our fish, it was 4.01 lbs haha. So instead of mounting our 6 lb smallmouth, we released it into a golf course pond. #thjngspeoplewouldprosecutenowadays Well obviously you haven’t taken a ride in my new time machine yet.......
  15. I got a fever and the only cure is more fishing
  16. If I go into bass pro, I get zoom dead ringers and a white bucktail for making jigs no matter what. Some things you can’t have enough of (Also they always have those two things while some other stores don’t)
  17. Bout 5 days, I accidentally left mine turned on in the carport once ha ha
  18. Mine has done that for over a decade. I have thought about moving the winch and rubber stop thing (u bolts) forward but it has never caused trouble so I just ride like it is. I also have to push my boat off the trailer at a few ramps so I kind of like it I believe the ideal position would be forward a few inches or maybe a foot
  19. My buddy and his wife have one, they love it. I rode in it to and from Kentucky during the winter (6 inches of snow) and will be in it again this weekend on the way to the mountains. It definitely has all the bells and whistles. It handled I 75 with ease, seems to be a peppy engine with good power. I’m guessing this was a four-wheel-drive model (maybe AWD) because we had no problems with traction in snow although Kentucky scrapes the roads a lot better than Tennessee
  20. I’ve tried biting at them Many times, can’t get em ........
