  1. That’s perfectly fine if you like eating other peoples bodily fluids on your sandwich
  2. That’s the going rate + tips. Used to be $2.15
  3. One of my jobs does that, the others don’t. Ill take em all, pooled or not
  4. I’d rather work for tips than a living wage myself, customers will take care of you better than your boss or the govt ever will
  5. Are you sure that’s not fishing line coated in reel grease?? Everytime I’ve removed line from that spot it’s been jet black with grease. Or does your wife have 20 lb test hair??
  6. Not as long as a fish . I’ve tried and tried, I really want to retrieve all the lures off my dock stuck in an underwater tree but I can’t stay down 30 seconds . I have seen Bass kept out of the water for a minute or two on dozens of occasions and be unaffected. I’m guessing the deep hook is what killed the floater mentioned above. I’ve seen deep hooked fish float without bleeding many times
  7. $50 is probably the most I’ve spent on a combo in 20+ Years .
  8. Yes I imagine it to be very similar to our highland reservoirs like Cherokee and Douglas, sure looks similar on TV
  9. Haha! Can’t beat that price! Well at least you don’t have much in them. I just can’t stand getting stuck that often, constant re rig and re tie, and leaving all that stuff the water. The TRDs my buddies leave on my boat eat holes through my dashboard, there’s some kind of bad juice in them. The ned is often touted as “50 fish per bait” type lure but that only seems to hold true in round bowl lakes and ponds with fewer boulders and logs in the Midwest and northern states . In reservoirs and rivers people just break off tons of jigheads with them
  10. A guy I watch on YouTube pulls them up from up to 90 feet, they just burp bubbles and seem A- ok
  11. If I lose 24 hooks, I gotta try fishing a different way. I just cant handle that. And if it was 24 TRDs I would have to take out a loan
  12. People must have gotten tired of all the small fish in Knoxville! Haha! but seriously we all know the reasons they go to the same places, money. If you want them to come to your town, urge your chamber of commerce to pony up
  13. That’s it!!
  14. Atta boy! On both fronts…….
  15. Sharp!!!!
  16. Ok now I’m starving. I’d jump in that stew and swim around reminds me of an old traditional song lyric “if the river was whiskey and I was a duck, I’d dive to the bottom and never come up” boy I’ve hijacked this one bad
  17. I hear people all the time talk about slow cooking wild game, don’t do that unless it’s a pig! It only takes 5 minutes to cook deer, turkey, and fish . If you cook a duck longer than 5 minutes you’ve ruined it too (the exception is waterfowl pastrami that you smoke for about an hour very low, but it’s cured for days before the smoke. Deer pastrami is also awesome )
  18. You’re way off track. Cut the breast into small pieces and marinate it in Italian salad dressing for 24 hours in the refrigerator then put it on kebabs with onions and peppers and Grill it. some of the best food on earth
  19. Inevitably, I’m going to lose a ton of jigheads. It’s what I throw 3/4 of the time I would imagine, and they hang up a lot even with the hook buried in the plastic. Therefore I buy the cheapest ones I can find of reasonable quality. They are typically unpainted but often you can find the painted ones for the same prices or sometimes even less. If smallies won’t eat these, it’s a rare day
  20. I had to get a possum out of someone’s basement once and it dug all its claws on all 4 feet into the carpet as soon as I grabbed it. The grip strength was unreal, I thought I was going to have to cut the carpet
  21. The water on that same river upstream of the lakes (about 60 or more miles upriver) is probably over 80 degrees currently because it’s “freestone” (no dams) from there up to its origins
