  1. Until the bacteria gets into your open wounds, it’s all good!!!
  2. The little pigeon yes. That’s not the best time of year but they can still be caught, sometimes they will be further upstream later into the summer. There will be far less fishing pressure though and the smallmouth are sometimes all the way up to the national Park boundary on both prongs of the little pigeon when it’s super hot outside. The one I caught a couple weeks ago pictured above was right in Downtown sevierville, the fish like to hang out in the eddies behind the shopping carts And piles of flip-flops
  3. It sure looks like it would cast a mile
  4. They do, but I don’t. Smallies also love Zara spooks and plastisol
  5. Nothing is lucky about living in an HOA……. just kidding (kind of), sounds like a cool lake anyhow
  6. I thought you quit fishin (scratch the paint off them plugs to reveal a much more effective bone color)
  7. If I ain’t fishin something bad has happened
  8. Hahahaha no kids for me or Elaztech.
  9. I have not and never will purchase a regular TRD, $5 for 8 half worms is outrageous I’ll never get the big ones either but it sure seems like A better idea (economically) to get a longer one or a zinker . Even if you like the small bait cut a big one and a half and you’ve got two
  10. I was in my boat yesterday kind of on a non fishing trip with the lady and friends paddling kayaks along side. (Air temp very hot water temp a refreshing 63). I was running the trolling motor to keep up with them and figured why not troll down stream with the electric. It was like 15 feet deep so I grab the suspending Shad rap thinking it would stay down better. Well by golly it got to the bottom and bumped it the entire time almost regardless of how fast I was trolling it. Got a drum, a nice sauger, and a decent smallmouth nearly instantly. For whatever reason this was the first time I’ve ever trolled one of these lures and I am quite thrilled about the possibilities for the future
  11. Should’ve went canoeing …….. just kiddin, glad you made it back and got everything fixed
  12. Believe it or not, downtown sevierville has a bunch of big smallmouth but most people only fish for/catch them in spring and it’s quite the poop show
  13. You can’t fight it! I’ve seen many people try and fail. Developers make up the board of individuals that determine how many houses go in, it’s a vicious cycle. Deepest pockets win every time
  14. I always change the whole hub that comes with bearings in it. Lots easier and not much more expensive
  15. Love the round abu’s
  16. Definitely try setting the trap without any bait after letting a cat out , it has magical skunk catching power
  17. I think I’m dealing with one of those right now. I catch everything but skunks at one particular house. My only real strategy is persistence , it will turn itself in eventually. Sometimes a passing nighttime vehicle is the great equalizer and yes it most certainly never ends. Skunks are beyond relentless when it comes to survival and reproduction. there’s a particular neighborhood where we’ve caught well over 100 skunks over the years and we aren’t the only gig in town. And then there’s lots of homeowners that trap their own ……… guess what……. There’s still skunks over there. In a different neighborhood down the street I caught 23 over 2 years at the same house in the exact same spot
  18. Mono backer is cheaper than braid backer
  19. Clear the screen on your intake, you’ll be fine
  20. If it works just roll with it! I also live in a jungle
  21. Hahahahahahahajjahahahahahahahahahhaha
  22. I think that depends on what I believed before I opened the valve…….. so……….. yes!
  23. I opened the Schrader valve and Schrödinger’s cat ran out
  24. I get black tarp stuck around my lawn mower blade from where the previous homeowner tarped under a mulch bed. Didn’t stop weeds but it stops a push mower instantly
