I believe they tried something similar with Tilapia once upon a time. Some nonsense thought that St Peter’s Fish sounded like a more appetizing name than Tilapia.
Some fish have unappetizing names and are ugly as well. I would rank Cusk up there with the best of them. When it’s square, breaded, fried, served on a bun with a slice of cheese, tartar sauce and called “filet o fish” I don’t care what it looked like and the name for that sandwich is fine with me.
