  1. Looking for some feedback on this kayak and advice in general on purchasing my first fishing kayak. I was able to track down a deal on a never used 2015 Malibu X-Caliber with a seat included for $500. I would be going to small lakes, canals, and larger ponds. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Just like the title says, I'm wondering which is your #1 producer and also specifically what brand/style (i.e. Booyah pad crasher, Stanley Ribbit, etc.). I may be wrong, but it seems like hollow body frogs tend to be more popular, but I've never had great success where/when I fish with them. I've tried several different brands, colors, retrieves, and my soft body frogs (specifically Rage toads and Ribbits) tend to outperform them and it's not even close. Would love to know everyone else's thoughts!
  3. I've been reading the forums here for a while and finally decided to contribute to the conversation a bit myself. A little late notice, but I'm heading out on Sodus Bay tomorrow morning for some bass and pike action. The plan is to wacky rig and t-rig senkos near the weedlines and throw some rage toads in the weeds along the northern portion of the bay as well as some of the islands. I noticed on the western side of Newark Island, it looks as though it has a pretty nice drop off. Other than that, I don't have any "go to" locations since I haven't fished the bay in years, so any recommendations on spots and what to use would be awesome. Here is a topo of the bay: http://www.charts.noaa.gov/OnLineViewer/14814.shtml Thanks!
