  1. Rapala DT 4,6, and fat. Bomber model 4a and 6a. Rapala (jointed too) shallow shad rap. Rapala xrap shallow shad.. and although not a "crank" the original floater is, and probably will always be one of my favorites to use in the shallows.
  2. Any idea how they modify them ? I already have caught nice bass on them... With nothing but swapping the hooks...
  3. Regardless of talented players. you take the same squad with a good coach , and the same one with a bad coach. And there WILL be a noticeable difference in the team's success.
  4. I like all that I've tried... the menace on a swim jig definitely has produced for me. But my favorite is to Texas rig the rage craw... Hard to beat.. green pumpkin red flake is my favorite . The structure bug is a beast.. I thought the senko was a "do nothing" bait until I tried the structure bug.. pitch to the suspected area and the bait does the rest, especially in an area with a little current. I Won't leave home without em. I just got a pack of em in June bug which I'm pretty stoked to try.. but the "summer craw" has been my most productive.. I also use the rage chunk quite a bit. Perfect on a small jig when I'm having a slow day.
  5. Rapala x-rap Rapala x-rap shallow shad. Rapala husky jerk
  6. Spiderwire has had a sinking braid called 'floro-braid' for quite some time now. It's nice. I use it every season.
  7. Better stop wasting time with whatever else you're pitching lol
  8. I use anywhere from the 3" to the 4.3 fat. The one pictured is a 4" with a 1/8oz keitech tungsten 3/0 jig head. Which works well for the 5" hula grub, 5" and 4" kalins. I also have a 1/16oz 2/0 jighead that works well with all of them as well and usually use the 3" kalins grub on it. I also use the screwlocks with varying weight from none to 3/16 for the swing impacts ..Just depends on the situation. I really like the 4" with 1/8oz jighead though.
  9. @hawgenvy if that's a livetarget lure then I have the same trap . And it has caught me a nice fish as well. Apparently it works nice all around . I don't own many because of the price (and because other ones work ) , but no doubt they work. Nice one. !
  10. I always fish the ikas weightless (and skirt up) on a 4/0 extra wide gap ewg I use the kiethech jigheads for swing impacts, kalins lunker grubs, and GY hula grubs.
  11. This is one of those times you get what you pay for..
  12. You will not be dissapointed with your plan to try those kiethech tungsten jigheads... Give em a go. They are nice.
  13. Idk . But It looks like shaky head city to me.
  14. Once you find it, it's the spot that says A-Jay, bulebasser86, Catt, and j francho all over it.
  15. Chompers too ! If garlic is your thing... I have good luck with the zoom fat Albert twin tails.. the only GY I buy are senkos, ikas, and hula grubs... I received a pack of "kreatures" though that did damage on a light t rig. I like to use alot of brands , and pick the "best of each" . I prefer the brush hog over the kreature for its durability , price and the way it can get through the grass. Anyway yea zoom fat Albert twin tails.
  16. I think its the confidence you have with Yamamoto products... Have you ever tried any of their soft plastics and not caught fish ? Me either..
  17. I try not to mention purchases of any fishing equipment.. because althought to me the purchase is justified... From her all I get is "uhhh you're buying more fishing stuff ??"
  18. Ahhh but a bass in hand is always a gift, regardless of size.. nice job.
  19. Bud this lure is talked about so much it's unreal.. so many threads on this subject I stopped opening them... There are threads discussing owning rods just for this lure... For some reason the search function isn't to handy on my phone.. the term whopper plopper only brought up one result... But this was being talked about nearly everyday spring through fall... Dig back into the threads around June. Can't miss em. They catch fish.. it's a fact. But I don't need one.
  20. I have good luck with a stop and go with these ! Especially when using the rage bug or craw! @iabass8 what's your favorite trailer with these in rivers ?
  21. Yessir . Basically a slow drag with added stops. Not my go to but I have had success with them. These would be ideal in Rocky bottoms, just as any football head jig would.. but I bought some just to try and caught fish with them..
  22. I don't have many rocky areas where I fish and this is where it would be ideal.... But I use the VMC swinging rugby jighead with success in sandy bottoms with sparse vegetation .. using a beaver style bait (rage bug is my choice) , spade tail worm , and a crawfish (I use many but hard to beat the rage craw)
  23. Tw order. Came in flawless. Almost 40 items.. Swing impact and SI fat Live impact Crazy flapper Rage bug X2 (I'm excited to try the June bug) Space monkey GY hula grub (excited for this June bug too) Fat ika (no June bug =[ ) 2 lucky craft silent square bills 2 bandits , 100 and 200 black and pearl Stocked up on the kalins grubs, Terminal tackle.. I also got some JJs and mendit.
  24. Pssshhhtt. Total dink. Not jealous what-so-ever
