  1. Who said mine wasn't serious ? . I'd love to know all the pros unbiased opinions on stickbaits. Also I have much doubt that they fish budget rod and reels(or ones under 100). It's what they do for a living and would assume most everything is top notch. I think whatever they are willing to share is awesome. And I'm looking forward to the video
  2. Lol right. Senko or dingers
  3. @slonezp Mike tells him " it'd be nice to have more free time ' Then asked , "what would you do with your free time ?" Mike replied, "....Probably fish"
  4. The Mike iaconelli* one was cool !
  5. Aye now. Didn't you reference rapala on another thread as "crapala" ?!
  6. @wdp I've consumed a few alcoholic beverages tonight. I quickly read the post and thought he was asking for favorite squarebills. In which mine would be the DT fat. I use both. I really like em both but have caught slightly more fish on the DT fat 1. It's a good search bait to find active fish..I've had 15+ fish days on the "hot mustard " color (I bet I could bash about 20 nuggets with some hot mustard right now lol) . It's a real fun bait to fish and can take a beating. And never need to swap hooks. Some come with a "sureset " hook that is awesome IMO because it only dives about a foot. But my overall preferred "crank" is the jointed shad rap.. I love the price , action , and how it suspends. I have a couple that are retired. And a couple new ones I hope I wear out In the seasons to come.
  7. My favorite is the rapala DT fat. And I have high hopes for a silent model lucky craft I just purchased. Most responses are going to consist of the KVD squarebills I'm sure
  8. It's been all rain. And gonna be cold again tomorrow. Monday looks best. In the low to mid 50s.
  9. We all know confidence is key.. I'm sure if they stopped making them you'd still find your way into the money though..I'm a firm believer it's the fisherman , and timing , place , technique over style/color of bait. Not that style and color can't make a difference...
  10. Ahhh. Knew I was slippin somewhere.
  11. I always thought they were great for the money.. but I wouldn't freak if they dissapeared.. d**n sure wouldn't go crazy about discontinued colors.. some of you guys need a nice deep breath.
  12. My best suggestion to you is to slowly cut yourself off the coffee. Drinking that much coffee has shown to increase the risk of high cholesterol, heart disease and osteoporosis.not to mention what you're putting your teeth through. I know nothing 'good' is good for you.. just some things to think about brother. Btw I like coffee. But am not an abuser. Is it better than being an alcoholic ? Sure it is.. but there are also much healthier habits to have.
  13. People that leave trash... Are trash.
  14. Ahhh the man's harshest critic on this earth is his mother in law.. believe that.
  15. @TxHawgs based off your posts in the past few weeks. You have a nice budget. Lol.
  16. Lol you ned nerds crack me up
  17. Yea my lady can Texas rig any soft plastic and take bass off herself. . She can also set up a slip bobber rig with livebait and nail some crappie. By herself.
  18. Lol
  19. Hahahahah. What cracks me up is people talking about Alabama being able to beat a pro team. I could take the worst players from all the pro teams and still have a team that would stomp Alabama. Just no comparison at all. That being said their young QB is impressive. And I thought they were gonna win it all. Good job to Clemson.
  20. Not really though. I usually average 3-5 easily. Sometimes 8. With no o-ring. I start with em Texas weightless, if it's too torn I'll cut about 1/4" off and re-hook. Right back in the fresh plastic. Start with a 5" senko and before I'm grabbing a new one it's 3 and 3/4" . . Sometimes I'll just flip it and throw it wacky. Some people believe these baits are limited to only throw wacky style. And although wacky is very effective; I could argue (based on results) that Texas rigged weightless is more effective. If anybody is only wacky rigging stickbaits they are missing out on these baits hardcore.
  21. I like fishing both equally. It's like honey In the morning. Or evening..
  22. Lol right.. I was gonna say do you know what a drywall patch costs ? Alot less than that ignorant turd makes in half a minute. P.s . I wish he would have hit a stud.
  23. Exactly. Learning to "feather " the spool will allow you to cast with very loose tension and virtually no brakes. Which equals extra casting distance.
  24. Always glad to see someone in Ohio join or begin to post their knowledge , questions and experiences. I look forward to more posts from you.
