  1. I'm gonna break that record. I just know his family is so proud.
  2. Lol. No insight like Mr dockskipper tho ?
  3. Familiar with the card game ? I'm lookin for some tips or pointers you may have learned while playing. I understand the rules and am pretty decent for just starting out. Just looking for some advice that might not be so easy for me to.see .
  4. I dipped from about 14-19 . And started cigarettes around 15. Also another unmentionable. I quit all of it when I turned 20 (with the occasional drink here and there ) . And started smoking a vapor cig when I hit 21. I'm 24 now and finally kicked that a few months ago. I have jack daniels probably twice a week. That being said I always liked grizzly wintergreen pouches. Cheap and hit me hard. And the Skoal citrus pouches tasted awesome. They were just weak compared to the grizz. I knew the preaching was gonna come as soon as I read what you asked... It is nasty. And it will cause problems. I'm a bettin man. And willing to bet that most everyone who chimed in about the dip being bad, has some dirty habits of their own.. Happy new year to ya.
  5. How about... Biggerthanitlooks
  6. To help with the backlash... Use braid ... And cast smooth. A nice fluent motion. The baitcast reel is supposed to allow you to cast a good distance with ease. Also make sure you don't have too much line spooled... The most important thing is use your thumb... Feather that spool and you'll be casting with the brakes off in no time.
  7. Local flea market vendor has rapalas 4 for 10!!! And a huge bin of em. If I didn't have 150+ of them already I would have got more than what I did.. he had some older ones in there too clackin raps, and some glass fat raps are what I purchased
  8. I've caught bass on everything mentioned but the yum pulse minnow (I haven't tried it tho) I really think you can't pass.on the fat ika , double tail hula grub , and senko.. The kalins grub mentioned is awesome too. I think you should try the SK rage structure bug and a zoom trick worm.
  9. Apparently I'm not the only one whose been drinking tonight ! Lol
  10. Bluegill eat anything.. easiest fish to catch.. get some powerbait crappie nibbles. Convenient and easy to carry.. use under a float.
  11. I can catch perch all day on nightcrawlers. But I can't catch crappie all day with crawlers. Crappie like baitfish imitations. Perch are less picky. And good eatin. I don't target them. I'm after what eats the perch. But a cup of crawlers will fill your bucket full of them
  12. Order from sieberts and didn't get not one jig??
  13. Echos . Echos everywhere
  14. @"hamma" get yourself a kerosene heater. I've cut tile during snowfall with a make shift tent (from tarps ) and a kerosene heater. And I was sweating... It was a wet saw so I was constantly running my hands through running water too. Itd warm up a small garage to the point you need to leave in a matter of minutes. I'm not too worried about this.. I'll worry about it in 2022 ?
  15. Bass will take bluegill head first. Hook it under the jaw and out a nostril. When I use bluegill I use the gamakatsu "big river" hooks. But a nice baitholder style will work great.
  16. Lol nah he said he loves the accuracy and sensitivity that comes with the c-rig
  17. They can take my lead when they come for my guns
  18. @J Francho would say a Carolina rig @IndianaFinesse shocker
  19. Not to mention the ugly uncolored weight on the bottom. I think you'll be fine
  20. Lol I hooked a nice one on that stupid sunfish. And have had success on all their lures ! Just don't buy anymore cuz others produce for me... Have you caught alot of bass with em ?
  21. @Bluebasser86 good points. I always act like I'm a ninja when fishing ponds. Bombing my bait from a distance to my suspected areas . Interesting that you don't think they get conditioned to the lures though. You have a pond don't you ? I think I remember you saying you do. I have 3 private ponds I have access to.. 2 are in the 2-4 acre range and one is about an acre. My favorite one has a 24" living in it. I've caught her three times. Once on a shad rap(first time) I didn't catch her the next season but seen her in the shallows and got her to slam a bright orange x-rap but she got off at the bank. The second time I caught her was on a senko. And it was the first time I used a senko at this pond. I had a 20+ fish day and she was the last one. The third time was on a rapala skitter pop. Mid day in the July heat... I've used all these lures again in similar scenarios and haven't caught her again... And can hardly catch 2 fish using a senko there anymore no matter how I rig the darn thing (wacky, tx , neko, dropshot, ) . I firmly believe she' knows all about me. And also firmly believe I will not hook her again on a senko, skitter pop, or shad rap ever again . Yea I was doing some digging for my own needs and stumbled across this.. started reading and felt not enough was said ! Have any suggestions for cold water brush ? I've caught a few on the blade baits but I keep losing them to the trees.
  22. Nobody mentioned the bass becoming conditioned to your lures. You said you fish it everyday. Even if you just fished it once a week... The bass will become accustomed to your lures I promise you. Especially the mature ones. Change it up.
  23. @MassBassin508 I'm with ya bud.
  24. GY senko and double tail hula grubs . Rapala shad rap Bomber model A
  25. I will never have them out because they are not there !!! Your dentist will know if you have them by the x-rays !
