  1. you are absolutely over weight for that power pole. Between boat, motor, and person in the boat you are probably already at 1500 pounds. With a full gas tank and a full livewell you are definitely over weight not including tackle
  2. obviously the aluminum and fiberglass are hard to compare. totally two different types of boats. I would go aluminum.
