  1. I agree with a few of the posts above that you should go to a bait you have confidence in. For me that would be a texas rigged craw or a spinnerbait. Also, remember to have fun! Any day on the lake is better than a day at work!
  2. Sounds like a good option depending on price.
  3. Thanks for the input and great article. I'll keep your suggestions in mind.
  4. Hi all, I'm preparing to purchase my first bass boat and am looking for a little advice. I'm relatively new to bass boats, but not to fishing. 80-90% of my fishing will be done on inland lakes in Michigan, although I wouldn't mind fishing some of the bigger water around if there were calm conditions. Would like to start fishing local tourneys for fun, but nothing serious. I really have no biases towards manufacturers, but am having trouble deciding whether to go new or used and aluminum or fiberglass. I also have no need to go 70 mph, but just want a stable platform to hold all of my junk. Also, do not want to spend over $40,000 which I know limits my choices as far as new fiberglass boats. Sorry for rambling, but I wanted to get all of my info out there. Thanks for any advice!
