  1. Good looking boat! May it help you and your husband catch many fish.
  2. Get better soon Bill.
  3. I lost the sleeve to my hitch. Not too many companies make a 2 1/2 inch receiver drop hitch. Did some research, and this bad boy arrived today. It's over built. Machined aluminum. The tongue weight gauge is a nice bonus. Probably the last drop hitch I buy.
  4. That's a good point. However, I'm currently working to finish a couple projects that require me to be here. So wait three weeks to pick it up or have the boat here, looked over, and ready to go in the same amount of time. Not a difficult choice.
  5. Very much interested, but the time it would take for me to drive out there and drive it back wouldn't make sense financially.
  6. I did preface by saying reputable, not of ill repute. well I think I found a shipper, for the price of a Lowrance HDS Gen III. 12...
  7. I did, they will not ship as the boat did not come from a Ranger dealer.
  8. Finding a shipper has proven to be difficult. Any of you work with someone that you could recommend? Boat is new, on a trailer, and will be shrink wrapped.
  9. Spoke to a rep at Mercury Racing regarding break in procedure and a propeller. They were very helpful. Based on the hull and the motor the suggestion was the 26.5, so I'm going to start there and see how it runs. Right now I'm still trying to figure out getting the boat to CA. Hopefully it will be on a truck in the next couple days out to me. I won't be able to pick up the boat until sometime next week. It's going to the dealership to make sure all is in order. Realistically I won't be able to get it out on the water for a couple weeks. I have a busy work schedule for the next several days. After a break in on our big lake then a trip to 'Lake X" will be first stop. I've not been there in several years, even thought I've been paying my membership dues for the last 5 without a single visit. Looking forward to getting back on the water!
  10. 26.5 Pitch Bravo 1 XS according to the powers that be at Mercury Racing.
  11. This will probably be my last bass boat for a long time. Now that Ranger has been bought out and the fact that they don't make this model anymore, I'm thinking the build quality will probably suffer.
  12. Well I think I've found a company to haul my boat. Hope to have it by next weekend.
  13. Easy. Don't hang out with Raider.
  14. This makes new boat #3. The peace of mind is worth the added cost to me. I don't have much free time so when I do have the time to fish I expect my equipment to work. It does.
  15. Trophy Plus 27 is rated for motors up to 225, I'm running the 300 3.2 stroker.
  16. Now to find the correct 4 blade prop. Boat comes with a 3 blade.
  17. That's what my local Ranger dealer said. Seat and power pole ordered.
  18. My last boat was nearly identical. Cruised at 50ish all day long. WOT was low 70's.
  19. For the record, I'm perfectly fine putzing around the lake at 50.
  20. After a few hours of leaning against the bike seat post my lower back let's me know it's there, so sitting down would be much better for me I imagine.
