  1. Try your local dealers I'd say.
  2. Always run 91 octane. Here in CA I've only used Chevron 91 and have not had any issues with any of my bass boats. (knock on wood)
  3. The original IT was terrifying. The book had me enthralled. I hardly watch any public tv anymore. Can't really remember the last time I did. It's either documentaries, some shows on cable, or reading. Lots of reading.
  4. There was another gent that painted lures as well, did great work, but he's not painting Bucca's anymore.
  5. Boga Grip all day, every day.
  6. Found a guy online that custom paints/foils these lures. Ordered a 6", 7", and 8" in the slow sink gizzard shad finish. Should arrive any day. The Bucca shad is great for stripers!
  7. You could be right. I see nothing on Ethanol and Chevron 91 in California.
  8. So you're saying the Chevron 91 octane I put in my motor is ethanol free?
  9. California only has 18 stations. All extreme north or extreme south. I'm in the middle. Rats.
  10. Buy the best Ranger you can afford.
  11. Had some mushrooms tonight in my risotto.
  12. To be fair, and having flown on private Gulfstream IV's, I can appreciate the extravagance. Just not on my dime.
  13. I can think of a lot of things to spend $21k on, and one of them is not a seat on a plane.
  14. Please choose your boat based on a dealer that can provide service. You'll save yourself immeasurable headaches. I wanted a Gambler bad, but ended up with a Ranger again due to the proximity of the dealer.
  15. and really, really old.
  16. Easy. California central coast. it's not "LA" and it's not "San Francisco". The unfortunate part? Real Estate is definitely not cheap.
  17. Several guys here that I'd love to fish with, although I think we'd be talking, laughing and drinking more than fishing.
  18. Haha. That's great.
  19. Most expensive day was not on the water, but when we moved. Lost a couple jdm reels, tons of lures including a couple 3:16 hard baits...
  20. Wow those old bass boats are cool. Would be a hoot to buy an old one and restore it back to original condition.
  21. I was lucky to find some yellow 70lb Samurai braid that's been discontinued. I'll be spooling up a couple reels with that line for big topwater lures.
  22. Then of course you have Paul Duclos with his released 24 lb fish. And here's a 22.01 caught in CA for size comparison. Could this be a real photo of Perry's fish??? Here's a link to the story. http://www.gon.com/news/mystery-photo-re-ignites-debate-over-georgias-world-record-largemouth-bass
