Belcampo butcher in downtown LA also makes a heroic burger. One of my favorite stops when I'm in town. Their chicken sandwich is also good, and then there's the fries...fried in rendered beef tallow.

In the Bay Area today. If any of you ever come out here, I highly suggest Super Duper Burger. Double Cheeseburger with bacon and garlic fries. The best part? They will cook it medium rare.

battered. I've not tried the grilled version yet. I am for the most part. Workout 5 days a week. My kryptonite is most definitely Chik-Fil-A nuggets.

I don't mind mild heat, but that crazy chemical heat is just nuts. if I want some wings I go to KFC. Original recipe.

I'm a germaphobe. Wasn't always, but a few years back the wife and I got so sick with the flu I was starting to think we weren't going to make it. Salad bars and buffets are at the mercy of everyone who is going through them. Not very sanitary. And yes, if I see you coughing and or sneezing, I'm going to go out of my way to avoid you.

At the end of the day, fish don't care what we spend on our tackle.

The polish dog at Costco's is what I always get. Wife likes the hot dog. There's also a hot dog stand in front of the local Home Depot. They don't do a bad job either!

This last year I've made a substantial effort to cut weight. Down 15. I'd love to cut another 10 to 15, which will be the toughest.

I've not had an A&W dog in years. We do have Sonic locally, great chicken sandwiches and of course, the tater tots.... Unfortunately had a bad experience with a Sonic hot dog so won't try that again....

Then of course, there is the bacon wrapped hot dog....

A good hot dog is hard to beat. Better than a burger. I can't think of a better dog than the Costco dog. There is a vendor in San Francisco at Union Square that sells a good hot dog as well, but not as good as Costco. And not for $1.50 with a soda.

Gene and Jude's is too far and FedEx same day delivery is not an option.

I agree with the quality over quantity. Buy one nice, well made item once rather than several of lesser quality and in the end you'll actually spend less money.

Mine is different, regarding a 'no start' issue. Bulleting -02 I believe. Specific to Mercury Racing motors. Will have to make arrangements to have it fixed.

I've actually cut back about 90% of my drinking in the last few years. I use to drink a lot. Feels good not to anymore. And the weight loss is a nice side effect.

Is Dierdorf closed? Looked for it to see their wine list.

XL Big Green Egg. Everything from tri-tip to steaks and pizza. Wife is going to make some rustic bread next. Very easy to maintain temperature and kind of foolproof (me being the fool).
