What's up fellas. New member here, also fairly new to bass fishing.i went walleye fishing at Lake Erie with a buddy from work winter of 2014 and have been hooked since. I used all his gear as I had nothing and caught the biggest walleye of the night, yes it was just one but that's all it took. I then spent numerous hours every night after working out (sometimes even in the middle of my workout) researching all the different techniques and methods of bass fishing, different rods reels lines and specifics on each and every different setup. I've invested a bit of money in gear and can't wait to get back out and start rippin lips again come spring. I'm a corrections officer here in Ohio so my schedule doesn't always let me fish when I want but as long as I have paychecks coming I can't complain to bad.

  1. Yea I've been watching youtube videos and it looks packed. Me and a friend are going, he's been once I've never been so we're both kind of new to it! Can't wait to get after it! Soon as the weather brakes I'm hitting the water...some water somewhere! Speaking of some water, somewhere as I said in my last post...anyone open to Co anglers? I'd love more than anything to go out on a boat and learn how to fish that way! I've never done it before and defiantly don't have the funds for a boat at the moment. I understand that theirs some weirdos out there and it's hard to trust anyone but it's worth a shot! I've been trying hard to find bank fishing tournaments but have had no luck! Any advice would be great! Thanks guys!
  2. Anyone going to the maumee river walleye run in spring!? I've never been but my buddy is dying to take me, so I bought some waders and yet another setup for jiggin walleyes. Let know me know if anyone's going as I have no clue where to go or park all I know is it is always packed!
  3. Hey! I'm in Ohio 10 miles from clear fork lake and I'd love to help setup a club. I've been pretty serious with bass fishing yet I'm only going into my second year. I've spend countless hours researching techniques and tactics and a good bit of money on equipment and lures. However all I have is bank fishing opportunities but that doesn't stop me from trying! This is also only my second post on this forum because I forgot my password after I made the account lol anyways yes I'd be very interested in setting something up and participating. I also have a buddy (the guy that got me started) very interested in doing it as well. Matter fact we just spoke about doing the Ohio police and fire games fishing competition today so we are serious as it gets. Get back to me if this is still a topic of interest.
  4. Me too! Again way north. Buckeye state. But hopefully something pops up soon around here for bank fishing as I am not blessed enough to have a boat
