    Ok so I just stuck a nice largemouth in the head a couple weeks ago offshore on a railroad bed with a Carolina rig... 5 lbs exact my new PB. Just wanted to know what y'all think about summertime fishing, what baits y'all like, what structure and cover to look for on the graph

    When the shad are spawning on rock bottom but grass is nearby I throw a hack attack sexy shad color just for a bigger bite than a spinnerbait but once the bream get to spawning i like the bluegill color patterns

    Idk the brand but probably a tequila sunrise color... Never caught a smally but I hear they hate pinkish colors

    First you gotta figure out color... Clear water: grey with a little blue or green stained water: white and maybe a little red muddy water: chartreuse or chartreuse and white then you gotta figure out fast or slow, vibration or no willow blades are fast moving, Colorado are slow... Willow don't have as much vibration as Colorado blades do. I don't pay as much attention to the blades cause if the bass is hungry he's gonna eat it... I kinda just focus on color

    I love a spot remover in 3/16 and 1/4 oz... 3/8 or 1/2 oz would b good in 30 or 40 foot of water but for the most part I'm fishing 6-20 foot deep... The spot remover has a perfectly flat bottom so it will stand up and the eye is a 90 degree bend from the shank of the hook. I throw it with a junebug or black trick worm... A football head is good with a craw but it's not called a shakey head or a jig but a creeper because it just creeps along the bottom

    A zoom trick worm in cold water... Lizard during the spawn and a ribbon tail worm and baby brush hogfor flipping.

    I like the biggest 1/4 or 3/8 oz jig with the bulkiest skirt I can possibly find for flipping... If I flip a creature bait or craw dad I like the biggest I can find or the longest worm like a 10 inch ribbon tail except when the water really starts to heat up and the bass go deep, then I like a baby brush hog. Shakey heads are pretty much a zoom trick worm in junebug or black unless I'm on a school of spots and need bigger fish, then I'll up the worm size. Texas rigs are either a 6 inch lizard or 6 inch worm with ribbon tail. I like a 1/2 oz spinnerbait or 3/8 oz and about a 3 inch crankbait. 2 or 3 hook jerkbaits are fine. And a heddon spook jr. Is what I go with at daylight. A Carolina rig I only throw with a 4 inch pumpkin lizard and dye the tail chartreuse.

    Can't go wrong with a rage craw... All the action looks like a rabbit frog underwater. The Christie craw is a great swimming jig trailer or a shakey head plastic

    It sounds like there would be some spots in there too... I would try flipping a creature bait or jig if the grass is thick enough or maybe a junebug floating worm. Oh and a frog would probably work good too. Im down here in bama and that's how we catch em
