  1. I just started using them late last year and these jigs are the real deal. They are my #1 producing jig for smallies and largies. The Title Shot and Bass N Knuckle ball jig are great.
  2. LOL who's paying the gas
  3. In some instances I say yes in the ultra clear water lakes as both sound and shadows spook fish. In shallow water anything constant should not spook fish. I try to come in from farther away with the trolling motor to the area I really wabt to fish to try and get the fish accustom to the noise. With the motor on low and constant I have caught more bass than on high in short burts. However the 2 biggest bass in tournaments this year came off of weed mat with the trolling motor on. I believe they will be spooked but presenting the right lure and tactic you cann get them to bite.
  4. For me it was sunken rock piles on a weed transition areas. Water temps were in the mid 60's, with the air temp at 70 - 74 degrees. My lures of choice are crankbaits for those monster smallies. Usually Rapala DT's and a few other brands like Strike King, Bagley's to name a few, fished with 10lb Vanish florocarbon on a Shimano Crucial 7ft cranking rod with a chronarch. I have also caught some great buckets using a 1/2 ounce Title Shot jig with a Phenix craw on some of the outside mat edges of milfoil weed beds in 4 - 8ft of water.
  5. Wow those are some great fish for sure. This is a great idea for a program of this sort. We do not have anything like this in Ontario. I am also a huge fan of Sure life products and have used them for many years up here in our tournaments. The products work great and have always kept the fish healthy in the livewells during the day and for the weigh in.
  6. Hello I have been reading the forum for a while and hope to contribute when I can. I am an avid bass tourney angler, but enjoy all fishing.
