  1. i say Calcutta D 200 is enough.. for Rod its up to you. but i recommend the Curado 300. all around freaking reel
  2. i noticed that in store they are changing prices from time to time. i dont trust online price. mine straight from stock room as they call the warehouse guy. there is arachnid in bargain cave but they were used.
  3. im about to snag the CT but as i checked the glass cabinet the sales guy is about to change the prices printouts. then i saw the R 100XS 8.1 for $119! i did not waste any time lol.
  4. They have medium. I have the MH and paired with citica or sometimes putting the curado 300ej and no issues. Not to offend, the new SC mojo looks cheap and seems one guy on the cabelas review looks legit
  5. I'm about to buy the new SC mojo but then I spotted the shimano teramar northeast (split grip). for me teramar is much worth the money and more versatile.
  6. This make sense! But anyway, i opened it and to my surprise lots of oil and grease inside. Also i wiped the spool shaft with alcohol since no oil should in there
  7. So i just got this and its totally awesome. I have one concern though. Spinning the handle i dont hear a sound, but when i retrieving from the water i hear like a scratching. Im thinking i got a defective one or its just normal?
  8. nice post boys. then go for the cheaper one. I compare them over cabelas.. $149 vs $129 msrp side plate looks plastic to me, I'm not sure some here saying the CT is better than the old one. probably the only advantage is the size and its not that much of a difference.
  9. difference are: aluminum side frame on 100 vs not on CT drag system listed are different the knobs on 100 are custom vs regular on CT also TWS is smaller on CT because the body size is small Daiwa's website don't even mentioned the CT model
  10. Its a downgrade actually from the original 100..
  11. 2weeks ago im on dilemma with round reels. At first my bets are AG C4 and Daiwa saltist. I ended up getting the Calcutta 400B.
  12. I ditched my casitas over the tatula 100HS. I cannot say on the Curado. but the moment I threw a 30lb braid with half oz lure, I was blown away with the TWS. its no joke man. some people buying the new Tatula CT over the original one.. but for $20 I believe its worth it. side plates is aluminum, CT I guess are composite knob on 100 is custom vs regular on CT TWS is wider on 100 vs CT drag system specs are different
  13. I already have the Casitas and Caenan for my bass fishin etc.. now, I'm thinking getting one more either C4 or the saltist 20h. now my question is. which one do you think is more versatile?
  14. uni and double uni. simple and effective
