Hooks arrived from Shorty's yesterday so I will be spending a lot of time pouring. Ordered 60k but only 54k came the others are on backorder or had to be special order. This should be enough to get me started though? Allen

Green Pumkin is my #1 soft plastic color followed by black. Swindel wrote something about GP was made by accident. Said someone at Zoom was trying to make pumkinseed and mixed in the wrong color. Ed just set the baits out and gave them away since they were a mistake. Well someone started catching fish on them and now they are one of the most popular colors. Allen

While not as sexy as some of the other baits on this thread I finally figured out how to cast these in volume. This is a copy of the Gopher head, 1/16oz size 4 hook. Just powder coated like 150 of these but there are a few hundred more that need painted. Allen

It gets a lot of exposure but there is also a ton of people selling. Some of the stuff others are selling on there I make myself so I know what it costs. There is no way they are even making minimum wage. You just need to differentiate your baits from the masses. If I started making soft plastics I would look into regional baits and colors. Allen

Great advice! Get one with a locking nozzle as the first one I bought didn't. After blowing the nozzle of a few times I just bought a good one (think its as Basstackle?). Allen

They still make it but only in pink marketed as a steelhead worm. I have a stash of GP and smoke but really need some black ones. Allen
