Some of the things I have heard of over the years to do. File the blade part of the buzzbait frame a little square. File both the blade and rivet where they meet which will make it squeal more. Crimp the rivet in place, heard this will make more noise because the blade is rotating against a stationary object versus one that can move. Bend the wire to make the head drop down a little deeper into the water and improve hookups. Allen

My lunker lure buzzbait I found in a tree. Thing was so loud you almost wanted ear plugs. Caught more fish off that buzzbait than any other. I still have it but the last fish it caught was a 46" Tiger Musky so it has been medically retired. Allen

What you are wanting to do with the bait I agree with everyone else, Red Eye Shad. Others will work but none that I have tried shimmy on the fall like a RES.

Taking a break from spinnerbaits to start cranking out some tubeheads. Everyone and their brother uses them around here so I need to make a ton of them. For some reason they have been hard to find? I have the supply problem of that solved. Allen

One recommendation would be if they are not working would be to bend the arm from the head to a higher angle. It would help the bait run better and not swing side to side as much. Allen
