Search came up empty but I know this was discussed before. Who here has made baits using tin and or bismuth? I have someone that asked me about making some heads using it. All I know about them is they both have a lower melting point than lead. Thanks in advance.

Such a small blade I doubt that it gets enough water turbulence to spin? Put it closer to the rear blade or use a larger one is my suggestion. Normally I use a blade that's 1/2 or 1 size smaller to keep the harmony of the blades.

I tried bass like 25 years ago and did not care for it? The DNR stopped me one day and checked my livewell to see if I had any fish. I told hit no as I like to just catch them. He then asked if I ate fish which I replied Haddock and that I would keep any that I caught in the Upper Potomac River. He laughed and said he gave me permission to keep any and all haddock that I caught.

Where I fish jigs I would lose them every cast without a weedguard. What helps my the most is watching the line and weighing the jig as the biggest fish you rarely feel the strike.
