After I caught this fish the bait didn't run correctly. Guess I need to learn how to tune it chatterbait.? Plan on making some this week that more closely resemble the juvenile bluegill I keep seeing in the lake. Allen

I need to learn how to make these! I have been making baits off and on since 1987 but never made any inline spinners. This year I spent a lot of time fishing from the bank due to my boat being in the shop since June. Hope to make some for fishing the creek that is full of different fish. Allen

Same lake about 2 weeks ago I caught 17 on a spinnerbait. These a just fishing from the shore 2 hour evening trips. Allen

I am using a medium with 8lb mono and down have that problem. Biggest fish I have caught is a 18" SM. Allen The baitfish silver one has caught more fish than any other jerkbait I have ever used. I have two of these baits that look like someone took a belt sander to. Allen

Finally caught a fish on a chatterbait! Only about a lb but it took me over 10 years to catch one. Massive wind so I decided to try a protected area that has a lot of juvenile bluegill. Caught this monster on a bluegill pattern bait I don't remember making. Allen

Had this happen to me twice. Once it was bad floro line. Second was some tungsten weights that were not smooth inside. I only use a palomar knot and have been fishing texas rigged baits for over 15 years with floro. Allen

It's one of those things that doesn't work all the time but when it does lights out. Like others have said current is a pain with this so I stick to lakes usually. Another thing is it works best in open water and it worked well at one lake I fish that is really clear. I would say the main reason I don't throw it as much is the second sliding bait gets tangled with every rod I own in the back of the truck. Allen

I agree with Papajoe that is either hand made by someone, or a generic sold under many brands. From a marketing perspective you want people to be able to identify your baits out of the package. With that said there is usually some unique feature that allows me to identify the bait. You can buy everything to make that bait from Lurepartsonline. Allen

Wonder how many times someone who isn't as greedy gets away with this? A single 3oz sinker in a 5lb fish probably wouldn't be noticed? These guys stuffed 8lbs of lead in 5 fish and though nobody would notice. Allen

Tried and true are super chunk Jr and 3" chigger craw. Best new trailer is the new Missle baits one that I forgot the name of. Allen
