  1. 1. http://fishingskirts.com/index.php 2. I have a little tool that I cannot remember where it came from but if you are only making a few skirts a ink pen will work. Get one of these http://store.pensrus.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PRU-RS&Category_Code=BIC remove the top cap, butt cap and ink cartridge. You can stick the skirt material inside the larger end and roll the skirt collar over the tapered end. Allen
  2. Why ask? You know you are going to buy at least one? :)I suffer just like you so I have not bought one yet but I am placeing a order at Ichiban right now. I think I saw those LC slim shads at Cabelas in Missouri when I was there in October? Allen
  3. Have look here, there is alot of interesting stuff: www.ichibantackle.com
  4. Allen, I see you couldn't resist! I bought the other one. I also noticed that you buy alot of spinnerbait blades. Merry christmas Daniel Figured I had to have at least one Let me know if you find someplace to buy more of these as I would like the M3 in that bluegill color. I make my own spinnerbaits and maybe selling them in the future so I buy different blades to try out. Right now I just experiment with different prototypes and make some for friends, etc. Allen
  5. No but why don't you send me that baitbox it is sitting on? I see a Tiemco, Megabass and some others! Allen
  6. Where do you buy the wood? I saw where Jann's or one of them sold pieces of balsa that were 1" x 1". Allen
  7. All the rattle cans I have tried work just do not mix different types of paint!!! The ones at Wal-Mart for $1 in the blue can work, I think they are auto primer or something? Allen
  8. The BDS 1.2 in Ghost Minnow is a great clear water finesse crank and I haven't tried the other. Allen

  10. This one looks good too! They are made of wood I assume? http://cgi.ebay.com/NISHINE-LURE-WORKS-BEATOUR-M7-in-BLUE-GILL-NIP_W0QQitemZ320177267991QQihZ011QQcategoryZ7300QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118 I would buy that one if it was the M3 shallow runner. They are not wood but made of some form of high impact foam? Let me see if I saved the link to the site? Allen
  11. This is the one I have been thinking about? http://cgi.ebay.com/NISHINE-LURE-WORKS-BEATOUR-M3-in-ARKANSAS-SHAD-NIP_W0QQitemZ320177267987QQihZ011QQcategoryZ7300QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118 Allen
  12. While I do like the Archer fish like T-Rig my hands down favorite color is Hasu. Allen
  13. I would definately take 2 LC over the Megabass. Ghost minnow, pearl ayu and baitfish silver are my colors. Allen
  14. Wrapping the jigs with thread would be a personal preference? Usually jigs do not last long enough for me to wrap them with thread? I just make them with the rubber collars and lately I have been using 24 guage wire to tie them down behind the rubber collars. Allen
  15. Use the rubber skirt collars to but the skrt on first then use thread or wire it is a lot easier. Allen
  16. Haven't tried it out yet I am spending a loy of time pouring drop shot minnows. Allen
  17. I use powdercoat from Caswell and have not noticed any difference in durabilty between it and Pro Tec. Allen
  18. They are the ones on the page where you ask the pros questions can anyone identify it? Allen
  19. For heavier weights like 1.5oz they are nice and compact which helps. Personally I can feel the difference when contacting the bottom but not enough to justify the cost difference. Now if Tru-Tungsten wants to sponsor me or the price drops about 50% I would use them. Allen
  20. Use the same colored jig as the soft plastics you are confident in. Solid black works everywhere I have fished for murky water. Just about anything can be used as a trailer. Grubs work best on swimming jigs Allen

Nice! I find that around here those bright colors are walleye magnets. Where can I get some of those lure stands? Allen
  22. I see different size dots in the background Now I think I have your secret for painting eyes on the bait. Allen
  23. By the time you saw her, she saw you 10 minutes ago and will not bite. Make a mental note of where the fish is a return. Make a long cast with a finesse worm and you may catch her? Allen
  24. For jigs that have the bulkiest profile you cannot beat the ones the Earthworm77 sells at micromunch tackle. They are hydrosilk or something like that? But for murky conditions they cannot be beat. I own just about every color silicone, round and flat rubber but for black flipping jigs his skirts are all I use. Allen
