  1. The same company you just ordered from. The owner is great and I will not buy skirt tabs anywhere else if I can help it. Allen
  2. I would not even try that after buying fishbelly's swimbait. I had it in 5 or 6 inches, i forget. The tail did not swim at all, tried all different weight, it sucked. I cannot coment on any swimbait but these work the same reason roboworms work in that they are made of softer plastic. Allen

Drive up to Hagerstown and you can have it for free along with all the extra glass containers. You may have to help me find it in my basement though? Allen
  4. http://www.fishbelly.com/retailers/Fishbelly/2.8HawgShad/index.asp These in the split tail are the best drop shot bait I have ever used. The only problem is they are expensive and hard to find. I did find a mold similar to these so now I pour my own. Allen

If I can find my camera tonight I will post some pics of the DS minnows I make out of supersoft plastic. Allen
  6. Allen, I didnt know you were in Hagerstown? I just read that under your name. If you end up hitting some MD water this year and need a tag along, let me know!! Sure, I usually can't find anyone to go so I fish by myself 90% of the time. Just picked up a bigger boat too 18' Xpress with a 150 Optimax that has plenty of room just need to register it in MD. 8. LC RC 1.5 was my #1 fish producing crank last year. Allen

I bought one of those $29 start up brushes and had a lot of problems with it. If you want it its yours just let me know but it will need to be cleaned. Allen
  10. I was trying to find that link after I lost my favorites. Allen
  11. Lurecraft.com Allen
  12. Not to hijack you thread but isn't cedar dust poisonus? Allen
  13. They work for me and since I picked most of them out of a $.99 bargin bin they have payed for themselves already. My favorite color is Gizzard Shad. Allen
  14. Correct, I guess I was a little unclear :-? I fish with people that just cast and reel. This will still catch some fish but a crank deflecting off of something catches more and bigger fish. I have a couple cranks that are now shallow divers from the bills grinding down on the river bottom. Allen
  15. Another problem is using a fast action rod, crankbait rods should flex through most of the blank. By switching to a crankbait rod my hookup ratio went up by about 25%. You do not need a crankbait specific rod just get a inexpensive graphite rod or a fiberglass one and it will work. I have a $18 Quantum IM4 (something like that) that works great as a crankbait rod. Allen
  16. They catch fish Just winding it straight in. A crankbait should be running into things like wood, rocks, bridge pilings, etc. What I have seen in the past is someone afraid of getting snagged so they do not cast into cover. I am a full contact fisherman! Meaning I will throw a $16 LC crank in places you would expect to get a flippin jig stuck. Allen
  17. My next guess is Matzuo. Allen
  18. For some reason I was thinking Salmo but I just checked their site and it's not theirs. Allen
  19. http://www.***.com/descpageSPECTACHB-ZBZWD.html I have been thinking of trying one of these? Allen
  20. Yesterday The wind was horrible! I had a couple of bites on a small tube but did not catch anything. Allen
  21. What is that? Looks like a modified cooking pot or something. :-? Allen
  22. Well since I am a shallow cranker I cannot give any opinions on the deep divers but here are my 5 favorite in no particular order. 1. LC RC 1.5 2. Bandit 100 3. Rebel Wee-R 4. Mann's baby 1- 5. Diawa Ti crank (not sure what the actual name is but it is the shallow diving one with the titanium lib) Now I own at least 300 crankbaits and a lot of them work but these work all the time. Allen
  23. I should have been more specific.........a flatsided "finesse" crank. Think - (You know what I'm sayin' here, T-Rig.... ) Where can I get one of those foil gay baits or a Zoom Hickey? Allen
  24. There are a couple different ways to do it just experiment until you find what works best for you. First you can glue them on with devcon 5 minute but I have found super glue JELL (very important not to get regular) works a lot better, drys instantly, and will not come off. Second, get yourself some clear fingernail polish at the dollar store, CVS, where ever. Next lay the lure on its side with the eye facing up. Pull out the polish brush and a bead should be on the end, then just put a drop of the polish right into the eye socket covering the eye. The fingernail polish will cover the eye and fill the socket sealing the eye to the bait. Wait until it dries on that side the flip over and repeat. Allen
  25. I use thinned Devcon but I plan on trying the Dick Nites. Allen
