  1. I use 3: 12lb Pline= Finesse jigs 20lb Pline= Flippin jigs 65lb Braid= Grass and weeds Allen
  2. I have been practicing casting with my left hand in open water. While I can cast I am not accurate at all! But I do not need to switch the rod in my hands. Allen
  3. I rarely use rattles on any jig. Allen
  4. I make my own 5/16oz Eakins style in brown. Allen
  5. Green pumkin or Black 95% of the time. Allen
  6. RC 1.5 Bandit 100 Mann's baby 1- Allen
  7. $18 huh? Are they real? Not trying to be the barer of bad news but ebay does have knockoff LC baits because I bought some. Allen
  8. Both work you just need to figure out which one they like that day. Generally jigs work better spring and fall while creature baits seem better in summer months. Allen
  9. This is my buddies favorite lure, he has me scouring the Earth in search of more. Some of the lures mentioned I have seen for sale recently? Specifically the Berkley power slug 6" and the black w/blue tail 4" power worm. Looks like we all need to dig out the discountinued baits we no longer use for some trading. Allen
  10. I have that rod and do not like it at all! Maybe I am just so use to graphite? Allen

Rick Clunn used that bait to win the Classic back in like 1990? Long ago they were a great bait until they started making them in Mexico. Quality control went out the window so a lot of the baits ended up with crooked bills, etc. Allen
  12. Team Daiwa TD Minnow 1091. Allen
  13. Looks like you need to change your name to Megabass man? Those Visions work for me but not as well as LC? Now the Griffon SRX in Matt Craw is a SM catching machine! Allen
  14. Do-It, Palmer and Hilts are the companies that I know of that produce standard molds. Shawn Collins makes custom hand pour molds but since he is good and one of the only ones you will wait awhile on a custom mold. Dampeoples had a spotremover mold he was going to sell at one time but besides that Iam not sure if anyone else would have one? Allen
  15. Zoom finesse worms green pumkin, watermelon Kinami flash natural shad, gold shad, watermelon Zoom baby brush hogs green pumkin, watermelon candy Eakins jig 5/16oz brown w/zoom super chunk jr and creepy crawler trailers in green pumkin Zoom lizard 6" black Spinnerbait= white w/double nickel willows, chart white w/front nickel colo rear gold indiana LC RC 1.5 copper perch LC Gunnish 95 LC pointer 78 or slender pointer 97mr in ghost minnow This list is about $75 and I could fish just about anywhere with these lures and feel confident. Allen
  16. My LC topwaters have paid for themselves! Last year I caught lunker 3 times in small club tournaments at $50 a pop on a Gunnish or Sammy. Allen
  17. Pointer 78 RC 1.5 These are definately great producers! I would add the following as well. Gunnish 95 Slender Pointer 97mr Sammy 100 Think about it this way, how much do you spend on soft plastics? I can go through $15 worth of senkos in one day if not more. Now I have several LC baits that have caught over 100 fish each that are still in good shape. Buy a good lure retriever and you will not lose any unless there are pike in your waters. Allen
  18. In the past 3 years I have caught 3 bass about 7lbs each. 7'H Kistler Quantum PT600 20lb p-line pure floro Handmade jig using black Micro Munch skirt Allen
  19. I should be able to go? Allen
  20. Try a natural colored finesse jig like a Eakins with a smaller trailer (super chunk Jr or small double tailed grub). My most productive combo this year is a 5/16oz pumkinseed jig with a green pumkin Zoom creepy crawler trailer. Allen
  21. I only use spinning for lures too light for a baitcaster. Finesse fishing requires a spinning rod with light line. Allen
  22. This is my favorite rod and could use another if you want to trade? I have a ton of lures including LC, Daiwa, etc. I could part with. Allen
  23. That really sucks! Keep a eye out at the local pawn shops or someone posting them on ebay from your area? Personally I cannot catch anything on Zoom cranks :-[ If you have not tried them yet look into the Lucky Craft RC series at BPS. The RC 1.5 has been my best crank for two years in a row. Allen
  24. Now you get to be a buck sergeant the hardest job in the Army! I hope my promotion orders come in soon? Allen
  25. Have you considered just buying some lead heads and sanding or filing the bottom flat? Currently I am looking for some silicone that will withstand the heat of lead to make some swim jig prototypes. Allen
