For the cold water I use hare jigs most of the time. Fish are sluggish so I use 1/8oz black with either a uncle josh 101 black pork chunk or a zoom tiny chunk in solid black. I just ordered 3 dozen of these because they look so good for winter fishing. With hare jigs I only use a trailer about half the time anyway.

Fat raps
Rapala to bring back the CW color
Kangaroo grub
Madman lizards in Volcano color
Maybe we can get some trading going on as I think I have some of the stuff mentioned? I should have a couple of those baby TI spinnerbaits and some older fat free shads but I can't give up the reflective ones as they are my favorite.

Just stick on the eyes then paint over them with clear fingernail paint. This works great on everything except chart. powder paint that turns orange for some reason?

Eakins Jewel jig 5/16oz in GP, black or brown are a finesse jig and catch a lot of fish. Trailers I use different ones but the 3 main ones are Zoom super chunk/jr, Paca craws and Zoom creepy crawler double tail grubs.

You guys put way too much thought into colors! I have caught bass on a hot pink jig with a green pumkin head and a chart. zoom trailer just to prove that color doesn't matter.

Like these?
I did those with powder paint and using a paintbrush to tap the paint on.
All that hard work into these spinnerbaits and you are using crane swivels I will send you some good swivels if you can do one of those photo rattletraps for me?

Check the MD BASS site for clubs local to you? I can tell you that you will have to re-learn a lot about bass fishing. In a pond there is only a limited amount of space for the fish to go? Now Deep Creek Lake you really have to find them. Fishing in a local club as a non-boater is a good place to start just don't get with a crowd that takes it too seriously?

Do you think the fish care about that detail when it goes whizzing by? Now before anyone comes down on me about detail I have close to $600 in custom spinnerbait molds. My latest spincast mold has just as much if not more detail than that head. All this detail matter a lot more to the fisherman than fish but I have a OCD about making baits. If he can sell these for $13 each more power to him but I am still wondering how much work can go into a spinnerbait?

I think it is called Blue Plains and is part of the tidal Potomac? Since you are new to the area the Potomac is broken into two parts gemerally. The Lower which is Tidal and mostly LM and the Upper which is non-tidal and mostly SM. The dividing line is great falls as far as I know? The Dam numbers start at 1 and go west up to #6 or something like that. I only fish around Dams #4 and 5 and maybe 3 so I do not know about 1 or2.
