  1. I find that SM are more aggressive and will hit larger cranks. In the river crayfish colors seem to work best. Allen
  2. It is going to be tough to find? I have tried making them but there isn't a lot of lead on there for a weedguard hole. Allen
  3. I use the Bagelys sunfish crank but plan on getting some of those new Koppers pumkinseed baits. Allen
  4. The bait it is setting on works well for women. Where do you buy those jigs? Allen
  5. Six at most for things like senkos and finesse worms. Most of the time it is GP, black or smoke i am using. Allen
  6. That usually costs $40 extra! Allen
  7. Sweatshop at work! Allen
  8. fishingskirts.com Allen
  9. They all work! If I had to pick only one company it would be Zoom because of selection and availability. Allen
  10. Try the Super Chunk Jr or just thread the trailer more on the hook? Allen
  11. I have heard good things about them myself. I want the 7'2" XMG rod but do not like that handle so I am having one custom made. Allen
  12. The RC 1.5 is my #1 crankbait and has been for 2 or 3 years now. I am glad they finally came out with a craw color. Allen
  13. http://castind.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2&Itemid=4 Check here. Allen
  14. At home I have a link saved where you could buy a tungsten powder/epoxy kit? It may be something worth looking into? I was going to try it in a spinnerbait mold but was sidetracked by other projects. Allen
  15. That's a VERY nice looking jig. Love the fox fur in there. I tie my own too. I would like to have some done with bear hair. In my tests it works the best for really cold water. Allen
  16. Some of you guys need to come do some real winter bass fishing with me. I am talking about avoiding ice floating downriver, 35 degree water temps, swishing the rod in the water because I eyelets froze shut. Produces the biggest SM of the year though? Allen
  17. Gunfish for choppy water. Allen
  18. You can run for quite a ways as the water is deep. The furthest point I usually go is right past the Potomac Fish and Game Club. It is on the MD side and has its own dock and on the opposite side (WVA) there will be a big pumping station. Once you reach that point the water starts to get about 3' so you can run it just be careful. As far as lures I would bring small tubes, finesse worms and especially hair jigs. Allen
  19. Never had much luck on them personally? Actually it is the only Yamamoto bait that I do not like ? Allen
  20. This is what I have always went with? Just a finesse Carolina rig to me. Allen
  21. When it really gets colder you need to try and hit the warm water discharges on the river. Allen
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/6-Custom-Spider-Jigs-1-8-oz-Bass-Green-Smoke_W0QQitemZ380176669639QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item58844b9bc7 For really cold water these are what I use. I am not affiliated with him as I am just a customer but these work. I suggest ordering whatever your most productive color and pairing it up with a Zoom tiny chunk or Uncle Josh pork 101. He has made custom colors for me in the past and I can say these worked in 36 degree water for SM here in Maryland. Allen
  23. Any soft plastic will work but I like 3-4.5" no salt baits because they float. The 2 main baits I use are a 3" Berkley DS worm (discontinued) in smoke or a 3" DS minnow that I hand pour myself similar to the Hawg Shad. I use to use the Hawg Shads and still have some but they are expensive so I make my own. Allen
  24. The new Koppers Sunfish baits are what I am looking at along with that LC pointer 95. Allen
  25. I bought some to try out as trailers. Allen
