  1. I noticed the same thing as all the ones I tried set differently in the water. Allen
  2. Shadish (Like the one in my avatar) with double nickel willows. Allen
  3. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=62055146 This is close
  4. Looks like a SK Bottom Dweller to me? The 5 on the blade is indicating the blade size. Allen
  5. Depends on your specific circumstances? Some of the people on here spend a lot more than that. To be honest even though I have tons of high-end baits most of the fish I catch are on a texas rigged plastic. This sport can be as inexpensive or expensive as you make it just go price a fully loaded Ranger boat once. Allen
  6. In cold (33-40 degree F) water nothing works better than bear hair IMO. Allen
  7. You seem to like those MLXF blanks huh? I have a SC Avid 6-9 MLXF as a DS rod and it seems too light in the tip for me. With a 1/8oz weight and 5" worm its like I am at the max lure weight rating? Looking for a new blank about 6-10 F or XF so what do you recommend? Allen
  8. There is a reason I do not post pictures or trip reports anymore. On another fishing board I use to frequent there was a guy local to me complaining about not being able to catch anything? Figured I would help out so I took him out in my boat to a spot on a spot type place and we wrecked them. At the end of the day I told him not to tell the world about this place or post it on the internet. Well the very next weekend he went back with a buddy and posted pics of all the fish they caught in his secret hole on the same forum. I was so ticked off that he did this after I specifically ask him not to. Luckily I was able to convince the Mod to delete all the pics and info that showed the location. Well he burnt that hole and was back to complaining how he couldn't catch anything so he sent me a PM asking for help. I told him to try the Atlantic Ocean as all the fish in the Potomac swam there. Allen
  9. The 4th grade school photo background is great! Allen
  10. Owner weighted hook.
  11. I think they were called a toothpick jig? I have a couple and I believe that is what they were. Allen
  12. It is a confidence thing and honestly I think it helps. Allen
  13. Looking for a reference to backpage were you? Allen
  14. Fished Black Hills last weekend and it was slow but the typical BH summer pattern. Drop shot under the bridge, shakeyhead and creature baits on the grass edges. Wind was blowing hard or else a senko would work as well. Allen
  15. Check out the Maryland Who's Who topic on the Northeast Bass Fishing forum for a lot of information about the area. Besides that I would try Baker Park which is right outside the Veterans gate of FT. Detrick (Which I assume you are stationed at unless you are AGR?). Nallins pond on base is not a good place to fish from what I have heard. Allen
  16. Hitting someplace tomorrow depending on when Nate is available? May need to try out my prototype swim jig heads? Allen
  17. You need to spend your money on getting your SUV fixed. We almost didn't make it and I think I have permanent hearing loss. Allen
  18. You have way too much fishing stuff! Allen
  19. Look into starflash skirts as they flare more than flat silicone. They can be found any place that sells luremaking supplies including BPS. Allen
  20. I have to congratulate Nate on his Four Locks win which wouldn't have been possible without Ernst Market jerky. Allen
  21. There is a weedless jighead on the way, it was one of the pics from ICAST in a Bass article. If you want a bigger bait try the SK Zero stick. It is a senko KO made out of the same material as the TRD. Allen
  22. They make a black colored blade dip. https://www.ispikeit.com/store/p-14-blade-spoon-dip.aspx Allen
  23. In the process right now! I do not like any of the current swim jig heads on the market so I am having one made for me. Allen
  24. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/owner-ultra-heads/345301.aspx These are ball heads but they have really been working for me this year. Allen
