  1. Swim Jig that I make and a LC 1.5 in BE Gill is what I have been using. Allen
  2. If your lake happens to by Black Hills Lake Seneca or Piney Run Reservoir then use a smallie beaver or something similar. Allen
  3. This is my #1 producing jig period and I started using them when I was in MO. It is a 5/16oz with a 4/0 Mustad 32798 hook and Zoom Super Chunk Jr. all in green pumkin. I have caught fish in 5 states and all different water clarities using it. Allen
  4. Cheap jigs that are available locally would be the Booyah Boo or Strike King Bitsy. Like others I make my own because I like what I like and it keeps the cost down. Allen
  5. I have some 1/0 light wire Mustads that work. Allen
  6. Great advice above. I spent several months in MO for the Army and was able to fish a lot. Finesse style jigs like an Eakins in Green pumkin, black, and PB&J worked the best. Looking at the local craws like Tom suggested is how I came to start using PB&J. In both the Big Piney and Meramec the crayfish were brown with a purple hue. The craws here in Maryland are the same color brown but no hue. Allen
  7. I have to ask, why such a thick hook on a finesse jig? Normally for something like this I am using 8lb line so I need a thinner wire hook.
  8. I do not use one but they can be useful in the right conditions. One of the PRO's did a video years ago where he had like a 5' fiberglass rod and spincast reel. He was using the rod like bow and arrow to shoot the bait way under some docks. Allen
  9. Use an old hook. Allen
  10. http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Fishing-Accessories/Jig-Eye-Buster.html Jig Eye Buster is what you are looking for and they can be found most places that sell tackle. Allen
  11. PM sent about the Prowler baits. Allen
  12. Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. -Brian Fantana
  13. What Guage wire did you use? Allen
  14. Picked mine up on a one day deal 4 for $50 shipped. At the time I had never heard of them but for the price took a chance. Gave one pair away so now I have 2 smoke lense for sunny daysand a amber one for low light. Allen
  15. Look into the Yamamoto baby craw , just cut it to the desired length. Allen
  16. I was going to post about using the skirt collar but smalljaw has it covered. This thread would be a good thing to pin to the top . Allen
  17. I wish they made this in one size smaller. Right now I am pouring a trailer the size of a Zoom tiny chunk but would like one shapedlike the super chunk. Allen
  18. Here is the 2 piece mold I made of one bait. Allen
  19. Looks like a SK bottom dweller.
  20. 5 for wacky rigged but the 4 seems to catch bigger fish. I do have some from 2 to 10 inch though. Allen
  21. Interested in what everyone is using as well. Allen

Allen
  24. Busy with family life so I don't have as much time as I use to. I suggest buying a lure retriever as I have only lost 5 baits in the past 7 or 8 years since getting one. It looks like a knock off to me since Bandit never made that pattern that I am aware of but it looks identical to the baits that were sold by Barlows, Janns, etc. Allen
  25. Looks like a Bandit knockoff that the luremaking sites sell to me. That or one of the cheap baits that Wal-Mart sells? Allen
