  1. My new favorite color from LC. Allen Swimjig I made. Allen
  2. While the PLine minnows are one of my favorite baits they are neither cheap or durable. Look into some Zman elastic baits for durability.
  3. Do you usually have openings for Non-Boaters? Allen
  4. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Grip-Master-II/product/97490/ I use this to grip them in the mouth and remove the lure while keeping them in the water. This was bought for snakeheads but I found it works great on things like Pike and Muskie. The local DNR Biologist said it is best to not remove the large fish from the water. After having a 3' Pike flopping around my desk with 3 sets of trebles I agree. Allen
  5. NC3 or any Pre-quells . Allen
  6. I think it went 31.5 lbs? Current record is 27 something. Allen
  7. http://www.heraldmailmedia.com/sports/submitted-weekend-photos/collection_e7476186-339a-11e7-ac1a-3b5d083930b8.html She caught this one over the weekend in Clear Spring, MD. Allen
  8. No double-wide's in my neighborhood as the historical society frowns on things like that.
  9. Never even heard of the stuff before now. Can you post that YouTube Video for the rest of us. Allen
  10. There is your answer, I do not use 58 series on anything above 12lb. Allen
  11. You can never have enough Plano boxes.
  12. Are you talking about the Chambersburg one? The Sportsmans Liquidators close so if GM goes I may not have any reason to cross into PA. Allen
  13. 1oz football jig I would go with a Zoom or Yamamoto double tail grub in GP or Black, depends on the color of the jig. Allen
  14. I actually have a single Plano 3700 box that is loaded with my best hard baits minus jerkbaits. Besides that I think most of these "If you were dropped behind enemy lines with only the lures that can fit in a sandwich bag" are just whatever. I can fit like 4 or 5 Plano boxes in a regular school book bag that I can carry for at least a day. Allen
  15. I do this with those LC Live Pointers. They are horrible as a jerkbait but on a slow retrieve they are deadly. Allen
  16. Those aren't the standard Do-It weedguards I see. I quit using heads from that mold because they were giving me problems. Standard weedguards were too heavy for my taste and would snap instead of flex. Next the hooks were straightening out on 8lb floro and a ML spinning rod. Gave up and just threw them away they were that bad. Now I have heard that the Mustad hook for this molds is a lot better but I haven't tried. Allen
  17. Just noticed you have been on here for a long time and had a low rep count. Allen
  18. Those look easy enough to make yourself. Wacky rigged senkos work best for me weightless. Now when I want to fish deeper or faster the Jackall Flick Shake worm and 3/32oz weedless jighead works best. Allen
  19. Try the Zoom Swamp Crawler in Green Weenie. Swamp crawlers have been my catch all worm the past two years and they work great. They work and can be found everywhere which is why if someone is looking for a recommendation I mention Zoom. How many places that sell tackle do not carry trick worms in popular colors like GP or junebug. Allen
  20. Use a small hook e.g. 1/0 and texas rig the bait and it will hang up less. Since you are fishing from shore in shallower water line twist should not be as much of a problem. I recommend using water gremlin 1/8oz bank sinkers with the brass eye for weights as they are a lot cheaper to lose. Last thing is in water shallower than 15' I find the best leader length is from 6-18". The only time I use a longer leader is when I am graphing them in deep water. I learned this on the Classic Patterns Ike did and it has really helped. Allen
  21. Are you going to make some for sale? Allen
  22. Update: If you guys see that I have stopped posting it was nice to know you. I may not be able to post due to no Wi-Fi at the homeless shelter or I and buried in a shallow grave. There is freaking lead shrapnel 10' up the side of the house on the bathroom window. Most of the lead has been easy to clean up as it does not stick very well to objects. Now some maybe permanently melted into the table, going to try a putty knife on it later. Allen
  23. Size 4 and 5 Risto Rap LC BDS 1.2 Allen
  24. Says the guy from Herionville, VW that has only 5 last names in the from all the inbreeding.
  25. What is this all about? I have been on this site for over a decade along with Alpster and we both have low Rep numbers. Looks like Alpster and I need to shank someone on the yard with a spinning reel handle sharpened on the boat ramp. Allen
