  1. Buzzbait comes to mind but I am not sure what your weeds looks like? Otherwise I can swim a Zoom horney toad through the woods without getting hung up. Allen
  2. Mustad 32724 is a lighter wire hook that will bend out easy with your setup. The 32886 is the heavier version of the 32724 and the Gama hook I posted above is the equivalent. I suggest looking at Barlows Tackle for hooks because they list hook diameters and alternatives for the mold. Allen
  3. http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Gamakatsu-Jig-Hooks_2/Gamakatsu-345-Swim-Jig-Hook.html These are the 30 degree hooks I have been using lately. Allen
  4. If you do not have a file you can just fold a piece of sandpaper over the hook and sand it open. Allen
  5. Gun fish has been my top producer for years but I did pick up some Shower Blows. Allen
  6. Where do I get the chrome powder paint? Allen
  7. This is my problem as well, I organize everything through the winter but when I need something I tear into the boxes. At the end of the season s**t is everywhere until I re-organize it if I get a chance. Allen
  8. Someone wants me to duplicate some War Eagle baits for them and the only problem I have is the heads. Is there a chrome or gold powder paint that is worth a s**t. Allen
  9. Looks good but how long will it last before one of the toothy fish at Deep Creek takes it? Allen
  10. What are you doing to bend out the 2/0? I have caught 6lb LMB using 20lb flouro and didn't even bend the hook. I do use the Gama 30 degree hooks instead of the Mustad which are sharper now though. Allen
  11. You do not know the struggle yet. Allen
  12. As you can see I am a minimalist when it comes to hard baits. Allen

    Flukes

Fluke are an awesome bait that anyone can master in a short period. Cast them out with a EWG hook that doesn't kill the action and just make them look like a baitfish upon retrieve. Allen
  14. Looks like I need to invest in some? I separate cranks into several categories. First is wakes 0-2', second 2-5', third 3-6', fourth 5-8', fifth 6-10', and over 10'. I know several baits cross into different categories but I usually write the depths with a sharpie on each bait if I do not fish them regularly. Honestly I need a better tackle management system as every time I try to pull out a crank 6 others are tangled with it. Allen

    The egg

He set on a wall and had a great fall, all the king's horse's and all the king's men could not put him back together again. Allen
  16. For the places I DS the water is ultra clear where you can see down15'+ so natural colors work best. Super soft baits in smoke or watermelon have worked best for me. While I pour most of my DS baits myself if I needed to buy some off the shelf I would look into the following: Berkley DS minnows, Roboworm, Zoom swamp crawlers, Skinny bear minnows, and some custom DS minnows. The only factory baits I use are a discontinued Berkley DS worm and Zoom swamp crawlers with about an inch torn off the head. For DS baits I think the secret is super soft baits with no salt which goes against what most factory baits are made of. Allen

    Poppers

Those MS Black baits in the lower right corner are big fish catchers around here. Allen
  18. I find that in the fall there are feeding periods. They will wreck and spinnerbait for like 45 minutes then just stop so I then throw a senko. Allen

    Lure ID

I would have to agree and while I know a lot of custom makers I do not recognize it. Wouldn't be hard to copy it though as it is just a D-Bait with a different lip. Allen

    The egg

Found out the same thing as they are either studs or duds. Allen
  21. That box has Bagely's and other deep diving crankbaits. Allen
  22. Never heard of this bait is it a JDM only bait or can I find one locally? Allen
  23. As you can clearly see everything is organized for easy access. Allen
  24. Old matte lite is matte finished and the colors are not as dark. The ones I have are older and you can see the difference more than these. Allen
  25. Here are just the hardbaits I was carrying for a spring tournament I had to let dry. As you can see I only carry the minimal amount of tackle needed. Allen
