  1. The ribbed one is 3.8" while the other two are 4". I can make you some as long as the colors aren't hard? Generally the only soft plastics I pour are; flukes, jig trailers, and some DS worms. Green pumkin, solid black, and smoke are the colors I make 90% of the time. Started to get into pouring years ago then quit after I dumped 4oz of molten plastic over my hand. Slowly getting back into it because I like catching fish on the baits I make. Allen
  2. Shot these last night in some new molds I picked up. This is only the second time injecting baits so there is a learning curve to it. Allen
  3. SP is the suspending model S is the sinking one. As far as I know only the saltwater ones are made to sink. Allen
  4. Check out a lure called a super duper, it is a spoon if I had to guess and works great for stocked trout. Saw a guy catch his 5 fish limit in 7 casts with one of these. Allen
  5. Look a couple posts down, we had a lure swap last year that was mostly successful. Allen
  6. Here is what I have in terms of larger blades, I paid $25 for the lot but they are bigger than I will ever use. The single hammered Indiana blade is a size 6 for reference. Let me know if you are interested in a trade as I doubt I will ever use blades this big for any reason. Allen
  7. Love the dog leach mod. Heard of this to retrieve lost rods so now I carry one. Allen
  8. Would that be Ken Penrod? Allen
  9. Looked and I did not find any chart/pepper baits only WM and WM/Red. I will look around some more this weekend as I had some but am not sure where they are at right now. Allen
  10. Staring a new thread so who is in? Allen
  11. You are on your way to making more and they will get better with the learning experience. Allen
  12. Just make sure they are not the S model which stands for sinking. Pointers that are JDM are generally listed as BFreese or something like that. Some come with nickel hooks but not all. JDM colors are great because they have so many colors the US market has never seen. JDM colors and baits have been a secret of mine as fish around here have never seen them which is to my advantage. Allen
  13. Never understood this myself? There are 75 guys selling the same thing without a way to differentiate themselves. Some of the people selling chatterbaits are only making money on the shipping because I know what the parts cost. Allen
  14. https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/field-guide/search?f[0]=field_fg_types%3A5583&f[1]=types%3A5674 Did you see this? Allen
  15. Pearl white is the best overall color for me. Allen
  16. Have you tried PB&J color? I remember the crayfish in MO being brown with a purple hue to them. PB&J worked great for me in the Meramec and Big Piney rivers. Back in Merryland I cannot buy a bite on it. Allen
  17. Let me check tonight but I may have some of those chartreuse pepper sweet peas. Allen
  18. Fishing skirted baits on the Potomac River there is a saying that any color works as long as it is white. Allen
  19. Sweet peas T-rigged on a 3/16oz bullet weight will catch bass in any body of water in the state of Maryland . Jacks worms have worked best for me a Carolina rig bait at Deep Creek Lake but they have also worked on a shakeyhead. The salty sinking shads work better than Zoom flukes when you need the bait to sink at a faster rate. PS If you have an inn with them ask them to make me sweet peas in solid black. Allen
  20. Glad to here he is still in business! I picked these up at a fishing flea market and the craftmanship is second to none. These are the nicest crankbaits I have ever owned and while they are works of art I plan to fish them. Allen
  21. Are you saying Zoom makes colors other than Green Pumkin? Allen
  22. Catching Concepts baits, I do not know if he is still in business but they are handmade cranks. Allen
  23. I have had good luck on all of their baits for SM. Allen
  24. With the chains I have destroyed a hook or two along with some split rings. Bait come back but sometimes the hooks stay in the process. Allen
  25. I have the Bill Dance ones both with and without the reel device. Get the one with the reel as it is a lot better as the line doesn't get tangled up. Lost 2 cranks in the past 10 years since I started using these. Allen
