  1. Hold up.... I NEED one of these, or two actually. One to use and one to hang on the bait wall. Dicks website only had the Wake version, not the Choppo. I ordered two of the Wake, one in each color. Can anybody point me in the direction or help me obtain one or two of the Bucktooth Choppo? I found a YouTube video with them in. The action looks amazing, just like a regular plopper or Choppo.
  2. @LionHeart what @A-Jay said up above. Couldn’t say it by better myself. And when you go to re-spool it’s easier to know what size was on there if you wanted to put the same back on.
  3. This was the first bag of soft plastics I ever bought, over 20 years ago. I was just a kid at the time and thought they looked cool. I had no idea how to fish with them back then lol. They still feel good, and are not dried out at all. Anybody have good memories (or bad) about these? To be honest, I don’t remember if I ever really used them or not. I will have to try them out this year.
  4. Lime-Purple Passion is a great color! I just looked, and I have one pack in my Pit Boss boxes.
  5. I looked at those! I ended up getting some that are very similar, pretty much the same thing. They work great. I have 16 bass setups, and I only bring 6 or 7 on my boat at a time. It’s just nice to have them labeled for a quick glance and knowing exactly what’s on there. I have two Abu Garcia Pro Max baitcasters for example, one with 17lb. fluoro and one with 20lb. fluoro. I don’t want to have to remember which one has the 17 and which one has the 20. I have four Abu Garcia Ike Series rods with Abu Garcia Revo SX reels on them. You get where I’m going here? Labeling just makes sense.
  6. I always use a MH or H rod depending on how thick of cover I’m fishing. I normally Texas rig with a Trokar flippin hook, so I want to make sure I get a good hookset on the fish. I’ve tried with M and I missed fish a lot of times. I use Abu Garcia Ike Series rods, and probably 80% of the time it’s the 7’ 2” MH. Every now and then I’ll use the 8’ H though.
  7. Lots of great replies, thanks guys! I ended up finding a package of labels online for both line size and lure types. Of course I could have made my own labels, but I figured for $5 I would try these out. I ended up really liking them! www.tackleboxlabels.com is where’s I got them. Haven’t been able to try them out on the water to see if they hold up or not, but time will tell. We have that hard water problem up here in Wisconsin right now.
  8. My collection of rods and reels is constantly growing, and it’s becoming harder to remember what lb. line I have spooled up on each reel. Does anybody know a good way to label either the rods or reels to quickly and easily see what line is on it. Thanks for any input!
  9. Thanks guys! Even though my previous PB was 21" and I only beat it by a half inch, I'm pretty excited! I've already caught two 19" and this 21.5" now since my good friend Aaron has been gone. That's really rare around here. I have no doubt he had something to do with that, and has been standing by watching me fish like we always used to together. I dedicated this fishing year to him and it's already off to an amazing start! Below are some pictures of him.
  10. Finally got my new PB bass this weekend! Fishing was tough and I decided to pick up my crankin stick. First cast out with it (Berkley Pitbull) and this big girl said she was hungry! 21.5" and 4.13lbs might not sound huge in some states, but for WI that's pretty dang good! I had been trying to beat my previous PB for 6 years, and just so happens two months after one of my best friends/fishing partner died it happened. I believe he had a hand in it.
  11. No way this replaces the 90. I've had way more luck on the 90 than the 130 to be honest. This 110 will be a really nice in between option though. Keep the rod tip up with the 90 and there should be no issues.
  12. Did anyone else put in a pre order for the Whopper Plopper 110 this week? I saw Tackle Supply Depot is offering pre orders, not sure if anywhere else is or not. They said they'll receive them between May 26 and 31st and ship hem out the same day. Can't wait to try it out! I ordered the "I Know It" color since I've had such good luck with the 90 version of it.
  13. I have 6 of the 90's and 2 of the 130's. Get one of each to start out and see what works better for you. I've caught a bunch on the 90, and none on the 130 yet. Still have to put in more time with it though.
  14. I haven't opened mine up yet, and I don't intend to until they go back for sale. May be a rare packaging like you said if they end up changing the name.
  15. I've had a ton of success with both the regular and popping version, and have almost every color they make. Best one for me by far has been the Aqua Frog popping one. Caught my biggest bass of last year on it, a 20" hog and she slammed it! They're really the only frog I throw now.
