  1. I feel your pain being an Idahoan, although our weather so far has been much more favorable. Push through, man!!! Break out that finesse technique on those deep water bass, and have a great weekend pulling them in when others decided not to brave mother nature. Also, bring plenty of Bailey's for the coffee and you will be fine! Tight lines! >_<
  2. I've seen some YouTubers state that the wider opening provided by the TWS might not necessarily equate to great gains in casting distance, but could potentially provide some benefit when flipping/pitching with higher lb test flouro/mono lines due to less friction caused by the larger open are. Would you agree with this, or is it more anecdotal?
  3. You'll have to excuse me for being dense, but is manventureoutpost a forum member here that sells tackle? I'm new so not yet hip to the goings on around the forum! Thanks for the heads up on the reel tho!
  4. Can you elaborate on the aspects of the St. Croix rods that you feel have gone downhill? I am pretty invested in their SCII Mojo Bass line due to the sales caused by the introduction of the SCIII models. I personally don't have any complaints, but my experience isn't that vast either. Thanks for your time! Would you mind expanding on the things you like about the Avid and LT series compared to the lower line stuff from St. Croix, specifically their Mojo lineup? I love my St. Croix stuff, but really cannot afford the higher end rods, and have been rounding out my arsenal with the recent sales on the Mojo rods... Thanks!
  5. Well said I think! I'll admit to not having a great amount of experience, but for the price, I think it would be very difficult to find something that compares. Somebody prove me wrong though! I'm always willing to try something new if the price/performance is there!
  6. I know I'm late to the party, but I use the Tatula and personally love the reel. I can pick them up new/returned for $88 bucks on Amazon if I'm diligent and I think it's a really great piece for that price. Granted I cannot afford retail or more expensive reels so it's an easy decision for me. Can I ask what your personal gripes are with the reel? Maybe I am missing something...
