New 2 Bass

Hey guys!!! Sorry I've been working my rear off on my new "promotion". I will try to make it out on Sunday and y'all know I'm good for a cooler full of beer. I still need to grease this by the wife. I'll try the "winter bite" speech and see what gives. ;D On a side note - The last fishing I got in was on Thanksgiving day and I got skunked. Only good thing about that trip was my son and I got to watch the sun rise over the Everglades and we ate gator and frog for lunch. Al

bocabasser you make a great point. When I would get hit on my soft jerkbaits it was when I'd fish them all crazy like a slash bait. I will try to burn it a bit and see if I can get the fish of the SouthBeach Diet. Maybe it's Miami, they all want to be thin and pretty....not like the fat green slobs that sit in the shade. ;D

Xraps, rattle traps. Gold or chartruse. Some guys like the rattletraps with the spinner thingy on the back. If you Pee'em off enough they will bite the lure. Sometimes they hit senkos, sometimes. Live bait is king. Try any canal or pond w/ a canal leading into it. My local FMA has up and died. The fishing is worse than bad, it sux. I havn't seen a peacock in....well I'd have to check and thats too long. Only LM I've caught look like bait. Try way south by the c-111 and black creek waterways. Good luck

Just watch the good ol'boys on TV. They got that samurai set down. Looks like they are gonna catapult the fish clean out of the water. ;D They even give it one or two extra sets.

I love fishing with my 4yr old. I just wish he stops punking out on the 4am trips > ;D Note the big mouth he's trying to make for the second one.

Ah lets see: I have 2 BPS extreme reels, work great not a single problem, a BPS 6'6" Med Action Woo Davis Rod; Works and feels great caught a lot of fish on it all summer. I have 4 very beat up and highly sucessful BPS Bayou crank baits ( balsa model) ah , i don't get it :-/ Muddy I agree. I have 3 Woo Daves Extremes and I think they are great, very sensitive. I have caught a bunch of fish on 'em and they have been abused. My 4yr old used one as a dip net for minnows and we caught a bass on it right after. Try that with a Loomis and it won't be as pleasant an experience. ;D Now their lures....I still think they repel the fish, but I ain't sure.

A baby n in a white color has worked for me occasionally. Thats not saying much since I've caught only about a dozen on the cranks. Rat l trap in chartruse works sometimes too.

I get happy too when I see one of the fat girls again ;D. I have the same guys at my pond, lucky me >.

If I fish a spinner for an hour all I get is about 240 casts and no fish... ;D

Give the dude a break. With a couple bad shoulders, who wants to lug around an extra bag full of gear in 95 degree swamp weather. Thats the go to hard stuff. I bet the killer worms are kept in the pants pockets. ;D ;D

Hey now. I remember being held down by my dad so my mom could put that stuff on, that or Iodine. It would be a better to go nuts from the mercuro-chrome. ;D Fishing was tough. Way to hot to do anything but sweat and sweat some more! I only caught one fish on a zoom watermelon lizard BassnBlvd rigged me up with (Jason gets kudos too on the catch, it was his lure) He was also kind enough to give up a new spot on his way out to work. I tried to get him to play hooky but he's a responsible guy. Some guys were pulling out monster pan fish on worms...monster. Big as the guys kid. Thats it. I had a great time with the boys, we need to do this in the winter. Seriously. Al
