  2. I am looking at buying my first boat, I found this Javelin on Craigslist. I am wondering if anyone has any insight on this. What is the actual model? What would be a fair price? Anyone have any general insight on Javelin or questions I should ask? https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/6197228626.html Thanks
  3. So with the new rules about rods over 8' in the elite series there's gotta be a few companies with 8' plus rods. However, the only ones I can seem to find are the Wright and McGill Skeet Reese rods. Does anyone know of any other companies with rods from 8'-10' specifically I'm looking for spinning rods in that length range for open water smallmouth techniques. Thanks
  4. Hi all, So, I had an idea recently for a small, super shallow water boat. I'm talking about at most a six inch draft on plane and at the absolute most 15 feet long, preferably shorter. Now, I'm not talking about a kayak or a canoe, I want a power boat. What got me thinking about this is that I live in Minnesota, and there are some great little rivers with amazing smallmouth fishing up here; growing up my family had, and still has, a Riverpro (I'm 19). It's an awesome boat, but it's getting old and I want something for myself. But I don't want to spend 40 grand and I would also like something small to be more navigable in tiny rivers, and easy to transport. I would also like to be able to stand and fish. I found a really cool company called Gheenoe, but once I looked around a little more I found that the draft on these is a bit too deep for my purposes. I know these criteria are a lot to ask and its probably not even possible, but I would love some thoughts and ideas. Thanks.
