Over the past year or so I've been hearing a lot of talk about "punching" the grass for bass. 1 oz weight would be an idea start? Does anyone use 1.5 oz for this? What's the basic bait most of you'll are using? Thanks for any info. Chris

I believe they all are water proof but never have bought one new so haven't had any paperwork on the ones I've had to see if they are or not. What brand are you looking at going back with?

Just found out about this website today, looks to have a lot of good info. I'm from Lake Charles, LA, been fishing my whole life. Turned 38 years old back in January. Don't get to fish near as much as I use too being i have a 2 year old little girl. Largest bass to date is 9 lbs 10 oz's caught on Toledo Bend back in 2006, was weighed on a hand held scale and released. I make spinner and buzz baits as a hobbie when I have extra time. Chris
