Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum here. I searched out how to make homemade wooden lures on Google and ended up here. Great looking lures! I was wondering if you could recomend any tools to go with the lather. I have about 3 broomstick.shovel handles for practicing, I just need to buy a lathe and basic tools, but not sure where to begin.
The idea of marine varnish is a great idea. I was hoping ot make one of the lures in the picture my grandfather and his grandfather made. Of course I have drawings of some ideas too!
