  1. If your wanting a heavy, you may want to go with 735C. I will be picking this one up in a few weeks for pitching.
  2. Dobyns Fury. Just picked up a new 734C for under 95 bucks.
  3. It does, but what I am asking has nothing to do with draining the sponson. It has everything to do with draining the hull. They used to come with drains. Just a pain to turn the boat on its side to get the water out of seating area.
  4. Does anyone know which through hull drain set up to use? I seen it on one of the pages where it was done, but no detail on what one works. It's for the Pelican 10e
  5. Agree on the difficulty. It took me a couple times watching the video and a couple tries. Finally got it and went on and tied up leaders. I did add a drop of super glue on the end of the knot for good measure even though I couldn't reasonably pull it to failure. Thanks for all the responses and options.
  6. Thanks mojojojo, I found this one too and just tied up a couple leaders. Pretty slim and should hold up well. Took me a couple tries to get it right.
  7. Been searching knots to join braid main line to fluro leader. What are some knots that are small, strong and cast well?
  8. Wanted to see if there is anyone fishing the speed stick. Looking to purchase one for my MD Tournament. It's been a toss us between the Lew's and G Loomis e6x. Cost not really a factor, but I want a durable specific rod.
  9. I had a 2005 Pro Team 175 I bought new and fished it for 4 yrs without one problem. Powered by a 75 merc with just basic maint. Wish I had kept it, but got into offshore fishing and sold it like a dummy. They are decent boats and wouldn't hesitate to own another. If your willing to shell out another 3-4 grand extra, look at the crestliner.
  10. Have not fished it in 10 yrs, but their are some big girls in there. Sorry you caught it at a bad time. We caught several 8+ pounders and many 3-5. Give it another shot in a few weeks.
  11. In Virginia anything under a 10hp is not required a licensed operator. I would definitely go with a 55lb TM. I have the Minn Kota enduramax and can fish all day with a single battery with using only 3/4 of its capacity.
  12. Hmmmm! Got a point there. I'm pretty new here, but Wayne seems to be the guru on these birds. I may have to request from him a live tutoring on these since I have the Helix 5 si as well and he only lives about an hour and a half from me.
  13. In VA. we have inland game and fisheries, but DMV will accept the nessesary paper work. They will want to see sales receipt, title and whatever documentation in addition in what MD requires for boats.
  14. Sounds as though your reading either propwash or the shadow of the TM. Not sure if you can correct this in its current location.
  15. I like the lay out, looks as though it will be easy to mod.
  16. Certificate of origin is what you get with new boat. If your getting a title, you are good to go.
  17. I'm not sure about MD, but VA requires registration if your running any type of motor. If your getting it from Dick's, be sure you insist to get statement of origin. This is required to get registered. I bought one this week and they tried to tell me the sticker on hull would suffice. NOT! Went to register and it was a no go. The Dicks I delt with removes all the paperwork from the boats and did not keep up with it. They ended up contacting Pelican in Canada and they had to re-produce the statement and emailed it to me within a couple hours. Still was a pain in the @$$.
  18. New to the site and just brought home my new Raider. There is a ton of good info on mods here. Already spent twice on what I paid for the boat on accessories. Great forum!
