  1. It's a family company that started in 2008. Bite Juice is a proprietary mixture of ingredients including anise and a couple other things.
  2. I have some 6lb Sunline FC Leader on the way, as well as some 16lb FC100 for a heavier setup. Will report back. Like J said, though, leader material is totally different from "regular" line.
  3. I've never caught an 8, 9, or 10lb bass. I've caught a 7 and an 11, but the gaps remain
  4. Big Bite has a new bundle deal - a bag of all the new ICAST-release baits for $9.99: https://bigbitebaits.com/product/new-product-tester-kit/ You guys are first to know because I'm the guy that sets these up
  5. I'm with you on that one I don't know how I forgot to mention Impulse as one of my suggestions earlier. I have a couple of his rods, they're great. The owner was recently diagnosed with cancer, and he made a special run of rods to raise funds for his medical costs. They're only $170 (originally $230) and I'd argue that the blank is on par with IMX. Good cause and great price
  6. If I were you and I had $300 to spend on a bottom contact rod I'd get a Tatula Elite AGS or if I didn't care about sticking with Daiwa maybe a Shimano Expride. If I could save up an extra $35 I'd go for an IMX Pro. Fill in gaps in your arsenal with nice gear rather than upgrading your current stuff if it's working well for you.
  7. This tube and this hook
  8. Here's some more info on it: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Megabass_Megadog/descpage-MBMD.html
  9. That algae mess is virtually impossible to avoid in my experience, you'll just have to give a really agressive pop of the rod every once in awhile during the retrieve or fish somewhere else
  10. DD22's for under $3 a piece when you buy in increments of 3: both regular and silent (<- links) Free shipping for first time customers if you sign up for their newsletter. They don't have the best colors, but a killer deal regardless. There are some other good crankbaits and a few good soft baits in there too, but these stood out to me as I know many people love DD22's.
  11. Here's some more "rumored" stuff
  12. The Megadog has been out for awhile now, no? Maybe they're adding new colors at ICAST? Regardless, I kinda want one
  13. July 2nd is the 10th anniversary of Manabu Kurita's world record catch. Here is a link to his Instagram post, but since many of you don't use that platform I'll share some of the pics here:
  14. Seems like they roughly throw this list together based on incomplete tournament bag data. It's not a flawless list, but it does the job well enough.
  15. New Lowrance trolling motor teaser video
  16. I heard that Big Bite Baits has a swimming worm style bait coming out, a chatterbait trailer, and a few others. These are just rumors though
  17. They're known for being really slow to put baits out
  18. 843 edit: i changed my mind, that might be too light depending on what kind of cover you're around
  19. It might not balance on a big heavy rod, but imo there's nothing it "can't" do. It's my favorite reel.
  20. One of the most underrated baits out there. Amazing action, outstanding colors.
  21. This might help you. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/guides/texasrig.html
  22. Mattlures Slash Gill, $135 Haven't caught anything on it yet, also haven't had the chance to fish it for more than a few mins yet
  23. Finally bit the bullet and got a bass mafia bait coffin to try for terminal tackle. I'm currently using 2 3600 size boxes, hoping to get everything into a single one of these. I went for the regular one and not their gimmicky terminal-specific one with the fancy inserts. I also had to throw in some owner beast and flashy swimmers to get over $49 for free shipping. This was on DSG with a 20% off email, which was nice for the box but it just brought the hooks down from their outrageous prices to something closer to TW's normal prices, edit: I just checked... This was $0.47 more expensive (including the 20% off) from DSG than if I would have just bought from TW at normal price. Let this be a lesson to you!
  24. I used this one for the first time last weekend, it worked well. It's a bit tricky to figure out how to thread it onto your line at first but you should be able to get the hang of it. I love how it comes with a spool.
  25. If only they were that cheap
