It's definitely not my favorite FC, but for that price point it's the best I've used. I haven't had any problems with it. I just don't think it handles quite as nice as Berkley 100%, Seaguar, or Sun Line. You're also paying up to 3 times as much so that's to be expected.

Hi everyone. My family and I are heading to LOZ on the 22nd for a long overdue fishing trip. It's been over two years since we have been there and we are pumped!!! I was wondering if any of you would be kind enough to give us a few pointers. We will be staying near MM 33. The weather has been fairly cool as of late so I am kind of wondering what stage the fish are in. I know some people may be hesitant to post their favorite spots and techniques so feel free to PM me if you'd like to help us out. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!! Jay

IMO Costa Del Mars with Green or Blue Mirrored lenses are the absolute best lenses for fishing. I own Maui Jims as well. They have great lenses too, but they don't compare to the mirrored 580 lenses from Costa Del Mar. I was shocked at the things I could see under the water the first time I put them on.

Wow.... A 40 degree temp change in one day. Add the rain and the wind. Is anyone fishing in that crap??

Just wondering if anyone on here has fished Lake Fork in the last couple days. We just got here yesterday and fished Little Lake Cove #1 and Wolf Branch today without a single bite. Most of the people we talked to sounded like they were having about the same luck. Has anyone had any luck lately? If so, could you give me some pointers? Thanks in advance for the help.

That's great to hear that about Tom. I just emailed him a couple days ago, and I think my dad and I are going to try to set up a day or two with him early next year.

Kyle, Great fish!!! Looks like you guys had a great time. We still need to hit up the secret honeyhole by Lincoln. One of our gun guys has caught some hogs there lately. A 7lb. 2oz., a 6lb. 12oz., a 6lb. 5oz. and a bunch more over five. My biggest of the two times I've been there is only 3lb 13oz. Needless to say I haven't quite figured that lake out yet. > Give me a hollar sometime!!! Jay

I was just wondering if anyone has fished LOZ lately?? I'll be heading down there in 17 days and counting!! 8-) Last I heard the water was really high. I was wondering what stage of the spawn they were in. I didn't know if this cold weather and heavy rains would have pushed it back. Thanks in advance for all the help.
