    If its up on a wild rice flat like here in MN. You can throw a buzzbait frog or what really works for catching hogs is a Northland Tackle Jaw Breaker spoon. They are amazing.

    Another great rod is an Abu Garcia veritas 2.0 medium heavy and 7'6". Great for fishing super thick stuff and horsing the hogs out..
