  1. To answer your question, when times are tough, I fish my comfort zone. I'll have a shakey head tied on, and then a crankbait. I like to hit them with the 1-2 punch. Find where the fish are holding with the crankbait, then slow down and methodically pick them off with the shakey head. This can bail me out of almost any situation.
  2. Can you imagine the stir that is to come if Nate Wellman ends up winning the classic?
  3. I want to know who called you a tool and a snitch...
  4. You and me both!!
  5. My dad and I both are planning on attending the Bull Shoals event as a marshal. Would be a great experience
  6. Not sure why it's priced that high. A quick google search shows you can get them for about 15 bucks. http://www.tacklebooty.com/bassswimbait.html
  7. Do dirt bikes have titles?
  8. Welcome! Where at in the STL area are you at, and where exactly do you fish?
  9. Why dont you combine the two? I did just that and found one of my top producing baits of all last year...the Jackall Cover Crawl. This thing is absolutely sick, and for some reason just whacks the fish around here. http://www.***.com/Jackall_Cover_Craw/descpage-JCC.html
  10. Ive only ever fished Norfork and Greers (Fished Bull Shoals, but never the Arkansas side), and I absolutely fell in love with Greers. The big fish are their, you just have to pattern them right.
  11. Would be more than happy to help
  12. Dang, luckily that didnt happen to me. I was the Primary (and only) witness to a head on collision that left 4 people hospitalized, and one ultimately losing his leg. I wrote my statement, and that was it.
  13. Blatantly put, this is going to get you nowhere. I would like to ask you though, why do YOU need sponsors?
  14. On quite the contrary, when the water muddies up there, my go-to is flipping jigs to bluff timber (approx. 20-40 ft. deep)...that or DD22's. 90% of my fish in this situation come from about 15' of water.
  15. No, no, no....
  16. Living in Missouri, I have a few friends at school that live in Joplin. One's house is done for, and the other is doing fine. I hope this storm right now that's over it doesnt hit them with something comparable.
  17. LOL, I'd be more than content with the amount of "raises" I would have encountered over 14 years there
  18. Thats awesome man, congrats!!
  19. Prove that you can think
  20. No way, no how.
  21. Thanks everyone! Would love to see some of you guys there sometime
  22. Well guys, I got the job! They called me Thursday to come in for a 3rd in final interview. Went in, they told me I'd be working the Marine area, especially depth finders. I'm really excited. Thanks for all the good luck wishes, if any of you guys are in the Kansas City area, I'll be at the Independence location.

Comparable to Mike Rowe and Ford? Not anytime soon. Maybe when tournaments get as popular as baseball/football/hockey, then you might see something like that. But the general public would have no idea who Mike Iaconelli or any other fishermen was.

I see where both of you are coming from. Heck I think Aaron Martens still has Crown Royal. Regardless, non of these companies are comparable to Nike.
  25. We were at bass pro the same day to meet Kevin!
