My grandpa feeds his cat fish dog food every night. It is so awesome to watch. He's got about 7 of them that come around. They're like his pets. He's even got names for some of them.
When ever the fish are schooling, I'll throw a carolina rigged worm or a big football jig. It always seems like the bigger fish are under the pack waiting for an easy meal to sink down.
My buddy and I were on google earth today and saw this lake. It's a medium sized lake just west of the St. Louis area. Anyone know anything about this lake? We're thinking about going there some day.

I fish Gene Larew Ringworms for the simple fact they offer a bulkier profile while having less plastic for the hook to penetrate.
For some reason I like how the 10 inch power worm is really bulky?

I agree ;D
Either way, its a good fish.
I hate threads like this because someone will ask, "How much does this weigh," and when the replies come in, they're wrong. Just my opinion.
I use 6 pound Yo-Zuri Hybrid. It holds up great...never had the line break while dropshotting. Remember, while dropshotting, don't set the hook: just reel up, let the rod load, and you will be good.
