  1. "Check yo-self before you wreck yo-self"
  2. Sad. I would like to see a more in-depth report.
  3. That's what I was expecting to hear. Thanks for the heads up. I've always wanted to fish Alpine though. Found it on google earth and I've wanted to go ever since.
  4. LOZ isnt a bad place to go in the fall. I would be going there or Rte J. Save Coffeen for when it gets reaaaal cold when everywhere else is frozen.
  5. Good concept, but asking fellow fishermen where their favorite Honey Hole is, is like cracking a safe...
  6. I've always wanted to fish Innsbrook. What do I have to do to fish there?
  7. Welcome! I'm not too far away from KC (Warrensburg).
  8. What areas do you fish? I fish all up and down hwy k and hwy n during the summer.
  9. Good deal. Here's the newest on Bassmaster too. Not sure how much help it will be, just figured I'd share with you. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/fishingtips/news/story?page=b_FT_GH_StormyTimes
  10. I use 1/8 for almost all situations. On a very rare occasion, I'll use 1/4 oz.
  11. +10
  12. Small world...you my friend have a pm.
  13. On days with heavy rain, I usually target creeks and coves by the major highways (I dont know if this suits your conditions) as these usually have drainage that leads to the lake at some point. From there I'll target the rushing water from the drainage and fish the heck out of it. I usually do my best on plastic craws (paca and chigger craws) and jigs, but almost everything has caught me fish at one point or another.
  14. Well that's pretty much what I fish around here at school. I mainly go with weightless trick worms and the like.
  15. Fat ika looks like a Chompers skirted twin tail, but I'm not complaining...
  16. Amen Amen Amen, give this gentlemen the Hand's Up,and thank you for reading between the line's. I don't think that a helicopter lure or pop zit,pop worm are considered a swim bait. What he's getting at is that they're gimmick lures...
  17. I'm very fond of the 4 1/2" straight tails that Robo Worm makes.
  18. You have one happy mailman then. I have never missed an issue of BASS Times or Bassmaster. Consider yourself lucky!
  19. Looks like a solid setup
  20. When cold fronts hit in the fall, I grab a spinnerbait and go hit the coves. That and an x-rap are my go-to baits for this.

  22. http://www.724outdoors.com/Fishing/tournament_results.asp?TournID=5806 From what I'm hearing, spinnerbaits on the Grand arm are KILLIN' em!!
  23. Guitar. I'm also big into filming/editing.
  24. Rough stuff man, I feel your pain. You're not safe from jigs either! Lost one that looked a round 7 (+/-) in a tournament on a jig, ended up taking 2nd place, 3 pounds behind the leader. Just keep your head up and line out!
