  1. Anyone know where I can find 3 bladed buzzbait blades?
  2. That probably helped this guy allot. Good one, but I doubt that will stop the irrelevant comments. :-? I use wave worms also. I'm not sure of the color name, but I've had incredible luck on the black/red/yellow swirl.
  3. I generally fish a senko texas rigged. Let it drop to the bottom and sit in the honey hole for a short bit, if you don't get the strike, give it 2 sharp twitches to make it dance a little. Guarantee you'll get attention! I recently bought some weedless hooks for wacky rigging. It helps a lot when you need to fish the weeds.
  4. i'd say 99% of my time on the water is by myself. My schedule is way to busy to plan a time to bring a buddy. I most definitely talk to myself especially when a fish is on! And definitely NO MUSIC for me unless i'm singing it, who cares? No one can hear me anyway! There is much to be said about time to yourself when everything else is demanding your attention. Nature is the only way the calm the soul.
  5. I've also caught several cat on plastic worms, spinnerbaits, crankbaits and swim jigs! the two biggest caught was about 35 lbs. on a tequilla sunrise worm and my last one just a few weeks ago. This one had to be about 70 - 80 lbs! Big ol' flat head! Check him out!
  6. Yeah, I said it.....PINK!!! It's been a while since I've logged in, but I have to say throwing a pink or bubblegum/lemon or swirled orange floating worm has always been my favorite plastic to throw in spring/early summer season. I've caught many huge bass on it from 4 on up to 8.5 lbs! There isn't anything better than watching a lunker dart out from nowhere to engulf a floating worm! My technique has always been to twitch it in a "walk-the-dog" pattern, let it float for a 2-4 seconds and give it 2 or 3 more twitches. Normally by the second set....SLAM...game on! What are your thoughts and experiences? Care to share?
  7. I'm new to the site, but I have been fishing since I was ten years old. I've had my fair share of fishing the banks. You really should try and move around as much as possible. I walk the bank about every ten feet and cast along the bank about ten to fifteen times throwing your lure out away from the bank about every foot and a half. Depending on the time of day and weather conditions, I'll throw a spinnerbait or lure of that nature to cover more ground. If the fish are slow or not biting as much, try a soft plastic. my personal favorite for plastic worms are taquila sunrise 10" or a black, red, yellow swirl tiki worm. If bank space is limited due to heavy cover, try and find a good deal on a used bass buddy or something of that nature. I hope this helps you.
