  1. That's no good. I hope it doesn't cost a small fortune.
  2. ...As far as the manual, this guy might sell it to you, or answer the freq. question before monday.... http://cgi.ebay.com/LOWRANCE-2330-FLASHER-FISH-FINDER-STILL-ONE-OFTHE-BEST_W0QQitemZ320096737413QQcmdZViewItem -Link clicks.
  3. I called lowrance since they're 10 miles down the street (they are based out of Tulsa where I work.) All the technicians were in a company meeting until monday. I will call them monday for you and see if I can't get an answer for you.
  4. Yes, a 50 amp.
  5. I see 23 days of nice pictures coming. Spring sucks sometimes.
  6. Using only a jig can pay off though. You'll become a pro with it, and usually your catch sizes are bigger.
  7. Nice fish. No arguments from me.
  8. Nice HAWG Glenn!!! And from the owner of the board and on tape....awesome.

    My new PB

    GOOD JOB!
  10. Welcome to the forum.
  11. My first swimbait trip out (ever) I only caught one on it. It weighed like 2 1/2lb's. They'll eat them, just keep chunking and reeling. Last night at the pond after work I swam a jig for 40 minutes, caught a bunch of dinks, then threw swimbaits till dark. I only had one tick, but no hook up. Swimbaits are meant to catch the big girls, so stay at it.
  12. Amazing creature.
  13. I am sorry to hear that. I will say a prayer for your family.
  14. I am sorry for your loss. Side note, my Uncle use to race porsches in Corpus. I wonder if he knew him? I need to ask him.
  15. Nice find.
  16. Largemouth (Florida strain) bass and flats go hand in hand. I would try a frog, buzzbait, popper, or swim a jig. Last week we caught 20+ swimming a jig on the flat. we were fishing the N bank and the S wind was blowing into the N bank. Cast low to the waterline IN the wind and fish a topwater bait first.
  17. I fish them weightless on an 5/0 owner rig-n hook. Throw them out, on slack line jerk the rod to the left or right, let it pause, reel some slack up then jerk etc etc. Smallmouth killer esp in pink fished erractily and fast.
  18. I buy owner rig-n hooks in 5/0. They are STUPID sharp!!
  19. I use google earth all the time.
  20. Good times to be had.
  21. I can see those bass at the bank, yes. Nice perch and zander there!
  22. Makes more sense explained like that. Thanks way!
  23. Nasty fronts can and usually does, pull them back out off the flats/creeks. So yes.
  24. Thanks Randall. I was not wanting to go temp. hunting, but it's probably best since every lake is vastly different. Again nice fish
