Oh and our lakes that are electric only, no wading no swimming are included too.

I live in NE Ok, and we have so much water it's insane. I have heard somewhere that if you took all the water out of OK and 'lined' it up, it would reach from FL to NY! Retention ponds everywhere in the city and off HWY's, huge bodies of water, and a jillion and a 1/2 smaller lakes. I have (since last year) been travelling to all these different lakes, of which some are gem clear, and some are mud in a bowl, I've probably hit 20 of them so far. I have a long way to go too lol Also we have double digit fish in almost every body of these waters. I love it also when I can drive 20-45 minutes and be on lake "x", with lake "y", and lake "z" being 10 minutes away.

I am more calm on the water than any other time. For me, it is also spiritual in a way.

I am reading another book and there is a picture of the N.E. side of lake "x" several degrees warmer....this makes sense to me. Then on the next page the author is saying to fish the NW sides, which doesn't make sense. So am I to assume the editor didn't catch this during editing? The book if anyone has it, is John Weiss' The Bass Anglers Almanac....great book btw.

Hey J, what are the spec's on the boat. (beam, transom height etc) Did it feel stable to you? The 50lb thrust scooted you along pretty good? ETC

We fish when it's cold too even in the south.... I say get out there and start fishing. I've been fishing since Jan. in some COLD days.

Just don't overdo anything either avid. I love to fish too, but screwing your elbow up is not a good idea.
